Uralasbest

The Uralasbest plant is in the city of Asbest of Sverdlovsk region. Plant - one of the producers of chrysotile, largest and oldest in the world. Here 21% of chrysotile in the world and 45% are manufactured in the Russian Federation, 78% of the produced chrysotile are exported.

Uralasbest is the high-mechanized mining and processing enterprise equipped with the modern equipment. As a part of JSC Uralasbest of 11 structural divisions: mine administration, enrichment factory, motor transportation enterprise and others.

Production

The plant works based on the richest Bazhenovsky field which explored reserves will be enough more than for hundred fifty years. The field is developed by an open method. More than 50 million tons of mountain weight are annually extracted.

64 excavators with a volume of ladle from 5 to 12.5 CBM, 11 drilling rigs, 43 electric locomotives, 48 cars of the BelAZ brand with a loading capacity from 30 to 130 tons are involved in career. Extent of a pit is 11.5 km, width more than 1.8 km, depth of 330 m. Extent of railway tracks is 310 km. The total area occupied with mining operations is 90 sq.km.

Enrichment factory - the high-mechanized and automated enterprise with complex technology circuits, with a diverse complex of buildings, constructions, vehicles, communications. Total area is 146 hectares. At factory more than 6000 units of the capital, technology and transport equipment are set.
