2025: Plant Opening
In Asbest, the opening of a new crushed stone plant "Voskhod," created on the basis of the city-forming enterprise "UralAsbest," took place. The company is designed to produce more than 3.2 million tons of crushed stone, rubble and sand annually. This was announced in August 2025 by the regional information policy department. The volume of investments in the project amounted to 4 billion rubles. The plant plans to create 110 new jobs. Voskhod is equipped with a modern line for sand production and a dedusting system, which significantly reduces dust emissions.[1]
