Ukrroskaolin equips transport with GPS modules

On November 5, 2013 it became known of end of the first stage of the project on equipping of motor transport of Ukrroskaolin company GPS monitoring modules which was carried out by IT specialists of Unitile holding.

Project Tasks

GPS monitoring of transport allows to reduce fuel consumption, to optimize use of transport units, to increase safety of operation of the equipment and, as a result, considerably to save on expenses. The monitor program creates reports for work of vehicle fleet which allow to estimate work of drivers and efficiency of use of the equipment.

Project Progress

On Ukrroskaolin the system consisting of the fuel level sensors installed on transport and the block of GPS monitoring and also the server with the special software is implemented. The server is installed in DPC of developer company of the solution - Locarus Ukraine, its task - to accept data from blocks on transport on channels of cellular communication (GPRS/3G), message a log of movement of transport, to create analytical reports along routes of movement of motor transport. Also a system includes the client software which is installed on Ukrroskaolin computers using which it is possible to fix location of dump trucks and, after the analysis, to create new, more economic routes of their movement for accomplishment of workflows.

The complex allows to create the diagram of fuel consumption and speed of the vehicle, the report on the movement and stops, the report of number of visits in control points and others.

On expert evaluations, after installation of GPS monitoring of motor transport, only fuel consumption on inappropriate trips, is reduced at least by 10%. According to developer company of the solution "Locarus Ukraine", some enterprises reach an indicator of 40% in the first months after implementation of such solutions – in the presence of the system of sensors there is impossible a fuel theft. In the absence of such negative factors decrease in vehicle mileage, and, therefore, and fuels, is reached due to more effective operational management of transportations, transport logistics.
