TDP-324 и TDP-324W

In June, 2014 company TSC Auto ID Technology, Ltd. (TSC) expanded a product line with two new printers of direct thermoprinting with the resolution of 300 dots per inch. High resolution is supported now by the TDP-324 and TDP-324W models.

The reliable and inexpensive desktop TDP-324 printer with high resolution is ideal for printing of different labels for spheres of health care, retail and marking of property. The printer is developed for printing of bracelets of TDP-324W especially for identification of patients of medical institutions and also is used to printing of tickets in the field of entertainments. Both printers have a small reference surface. It allows to install them on a table or to fix on a wall in case of the shortage of an empty seat.

New compact models are created on the basis of the platform which was already in time to prove with the TDP-225 printer and supplement a series of desktop models and printers for printing of bracelets of TSC with the resolution of 203 dots per inch including such models as TDP-225 and TDP-225W. New printers support printing with the resolution of 300 dots per inch and the speed of 4 inches per second and also, like earlier models, are equipped with the LCD display simplifying tracking of a status of tasks of printing. Other important characteristics include the internal Ethernet adapter for simplification of integration with networks, the modern interface, the powerful processor with a frequency of 200 MHz, a flash memory of 4 MB in a basic equipment and memory of SDRAM of 8 MB and also the expansion slot microSD allowing to add a flash memory to 4 GB.

Convenient double-wing construction of the TDP-324 printer in use just allows users to open a cover and to load labels into the sprung compartment for the carrier with an outer diameter of 5 inches, and into the TDP-324W printer, despite its compact construction, it is possible to set the rolls of a tape with an outer diameter of 6.5 inches delivered by the famous producers of tapes.

Both new printers can be used with the additional keyboard for printing of labels in a standalone mode or in case of idle time. On new products TSC Auto ID provides the standard 24-month guarantee.

Self-service points using TDP-247 printers accelerate sale of tickets in movie theaters

Initial data:

In the first weeks of an exit to blockbuster screens thousands of the viewers bring down in movie theaters. If in cash desks of movie theater there are not enough cashiers, long queues and delays are formed.

Solution:

Use of the TDP-247 printer of TSC company in automatic machines for sale of tickets allows movie theaters to accelerate selection process of the place in the hall and acquisitions of the ticket. Instead of waiting buyers can select the necessary movie using the touch self-service terminal from queue. After transmission of the credit card through a groove for payment the ticket for a film session is automatically printed. Connection of a system with service center of credit cards and transaction requires only several seconds. (During connection on the screen the message is displayed: "Wait for processing of your payment.") Use of automatic machines for sale of tickets in the mode of self-service allows the buyer to purchase quickly tickets for a film session without standing in queues in cash desks. It also allows to integrate ticket sales system into the general management system for movie theater.

Possibilities of the TDP-247 printer:

The TDP-247 printer allows to print labels 4 inches wide with the resolution of printing of 203 dpi and speed up to 7 inches per second. The printer is standardized under the USB interface, the bit-parallel and serial interface. Are among other options the built-in Ethernet-interface for easy integration with network, cutting torches of labels and the keyboard for printing of labels in a standalone mode or in a non-working status.

Thanks to compact construction the TDP-247 printer is ideal for use the most different operating conditions, well fitting into the close work area which is usually too small for placement of printers of the bigger size. The printer has convenient folding construction which just allows the user to open a cover and to set labels in the compartment displaced to the center. An upper part of the sensor of carving, a black tag or notch is standard and is regulated in directions.

TDP-247 is equipped with the powerful processor with clock rate 200 MHz, - the drive with a capacity of 4 MB, RAM of 8 MB of SDRAM and a possibility of expansion of amount of memory due to use of SD cards that allows to increase a flash memory to 4 GB. The printer supports operational emulation under industry standards, including support of languages of printing of Eltron® and Zebra®.
