ProjectWise Construction Work Package Server is a management system for lifecycle of construction working packets.

On October 29, 2013 the Bentley Systems company announced preparation for product output of ProjectWise Construction Work Package Server - the first commercial system for management of lifecycle of construction working packets.

Description

ProjectWise Construction Work Package Server expands possibilities of information mobility in construction, optimizing the work of the software and technology processes relating to management of technical information and work planning.

Advantages

ProjectWise Construction Work Package Server is the unique software which can consider new recommendations (and, as a result, to provide increase in efficiency) the RT 272 groups CII for expanded use of working packets. The Construction Work Package Server system expands functionality of ProjectWise due to work planning in ConstructSim and to use of the i-model models and also the solution eB/Information Manager (eB/IM) for support of interrelations and changes at the level of copies of components of construction, in engineering, construction and setup working packages and in the corresponding corporate systems for supply and training of professionals.

Using the complete solution for construction working packets transition from visualization of a status to improvement of project planning and, therefore, from modeling of the project schedule to its optimization is possible. Construction Work Packaging Server in combination with Bentley Navigator and ConstructSim allows ProjectWise to train for a new profession from "a working horse for working packets" in "the generator of efficiency of the project". In combination with cloud services Bentley CONNECT and local applications new complex offers will add possibilities of the information mobility focused on consumers, accelerating continuous development and industrialization of construction of facilities of infrastructure.

Availability

The product is created and for the beginning of November, 2013 is in a test stage the leading engineering, supplying and construction companies participating in the program of fact-finding access from Bentley company. The beginning of sales of the solution is planned for the beginning of 2014.
