2018: Integrated solution on the basis of Teamcenter and Bentley ProjectWise

The Siemens PLM Software company together with Bentley Systems announced on October 1, 2018 integrated solution for more effective implementation of capital projects. This solution will combine Teamcenter product line with the Bentley ProjectWise application and a unified environment of data (CDE). 2017: Updating of Connect Edition with cloud services based on Azure

The Bentley Systems company in November, 2017 submitted the next version of ProjectWise Connect Edition with the cloud services provided to Microsoft Azure. Services on the basis of Azure complement service of ProjectWise Design Integration — a product for the general use jointly with the working engineering commands — and can be unrolled on site as a cloud service or in any hybrid combination. Along with 365 Services, the general environment of data Bentley shared between ProjectWise and AssetWise, includes Components Center, ContextShare, ConstructSim Completions and iModelHub services now.

Cloud services of ProjectWise Connect Edition for complex project implementation include:

• Management of the project documentation (Deliverables Management) for creation, sendings and obtaining the provided documentation and requests for obtaining information;
• Issues Resolution for representation, management and problem solving;
• Data management on places (Field Data Management) for the configured data collection on the basis of forms;
• Panels of observation of the project progress (Project Performance Dashboards) for understanding of the course of the project;
• Shared access (Share) widely to share the general project information;
• Construction Management for contract management, the cost, changes and risks.

ConstructSim Completions

ConstructSim Completions helps both the project organizations, and owners to move ahead and check readiness of a system for commissioning of the project and acceptance. Completely integrated with ConstructSim Work Package Server, ConstructSim Completions allows the organizations to eliminate manual data collection using the automated check sheets and it is easy to control and automate workflows of testing and check for tracking of the status and the reporting in real time. It is also reasonable to use a system when carrying out setup tests, including obtaining portal status reports on the basis of a dashboard and mobile digital smart forms. ConstructSim Completions provides important project and construction information when carrying out setup tests and also accelerates readiness of systems, reduces risk and complexity, ensures the increased safety and end of the current methods.

Components Center

The center of components is a cloud service Azure for libraries which integrates in different disciplines and applications semantic contents of the catalogued components which are potentially including vendor data, information on production, requirements to components (for example, electric specifications and connections), characteristics of reliability and representative images necessary for documentation (for example, 3D, plans, schemes). The center of components is reused in workflows of BIM in different models — from the catalogued component to an engineering component installed and the operated component.

The center of components is initialized with libraries of the general components with the relevant information and libraries from producers and suppliers, including such formats as RFA, but is intended for support and replenishment of users by the organizations.

365 Services

Services of the general environment of data from Bentley are applied in order that the enterprises for design of infrastructure facilities passing to digital technologies could fully use the platform focused opportunities of Microsoft Azure and optimize the current investments in tools and data of Microsoft — from workflows on the basis of digital technologies and before the optimized complex project implementation and increase in efficiency of assets.
