On roads of Cherepovets installed the system of photofixing of violations of traffic regulations

On November 13, 2013 the Vokord company announced an implementation project of the VOCORD Traffic system in 2011 by request of "The center of municipal information resources and technologies" on a number of road city facilities of Cherepovets.

Project Progress

The full-function system of photofixing of violations of traffic regulations works in the city of metallurgists since 2011.

Control boundaries the VOCORD Traffic systems are installed on the Yagorbsky and Sheksna bridges connecting different parts of the city.

"Right after installation of the VOCORD Traffic system on the bridge through the Yagorbu River the volume of penalties was just enormous. After a while, the quantity of penalties decreased many times. Drivers became much more more disciplined", - Sergey Vinogradov, the director of "The center of municipal information resources and technologies" noted. - Besides, according to Department of Internal Affairs of the city of Cherepovets, the automatic system of video fixing of violations of traffic regulations of VOCORD Traffic could stabilize significantly a road and transport situation in the city owing to what the number of violations of traffic regulations and the road accidents decreased. Now on these sections of the road more than 140 violations of traffic regulations are weekly fixed".
