The Ministry of Internal Affairs in the Samara region purchased 2500 licenses of antivirus protection

On November 19, 2013 the Softline company announced implementation of delivery of the solution of Kaspersky Lab of Kaspersky Endpoint Security to the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Russia on the Samara region.

Project Tasks

One of important tasks for the Ministry of Internal Affairs - information security support of own IT resources. Existence of the corresponding system – the integral condition of successful work and the protected data exchange with other state organizations.

Antivirus software of Kaspersky Lab was used by Kaspersky Work Space Security in the organization more than two years. Was implemented software within the uniform technical policy of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of the Russian Federation and completely arranged the guide of the customer in terms of functionality and quality. The new project included transfer to a new product of vendor - Kaspersky Endpoint Security with simultaneous increase in number of the used licenses till 2500.

Project Progress

Delivery of licenses was carried out by Softline company, it interacts many years with the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Russia in the Samara region within different IT projects.

Project Results

The updated software of Kaspersky Lab helps the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Russia in the Samara region to protect reliably the resources from cybersecurity risks, to differentiate access rights to information that promoted decrease in load of infrastructure of the organization and increase in efficiency of personnel. Protection not only workstations, but also file servers was added to the new improved functionality of the cybersecurity solution. Further the organization is going to continue expansion of the computer park and, respectively, to ensure safety of new devices by means of solutions of Kaspersky Lab.
