The Almetyevsk polytechnical technical school protects structure of IT anti-virus solution

On November 26, 2013 the Softline company announced delivery of a product of Kaspersky Lab of Kaspersky Total Space Security for the Almetyevsk polytechnical technical school.

Biography

Information infrastructure of the Almetyevsk polytechnical technical school represents the unrolled complex hardware and the software. In educational process 350 computers united in a local network with Internet connection through fiber optic connection are used. For training of students of all specialties more than 30 types of a licensed software of applied character are used. In technical school a large number of students and therefore a data protection problem from viruses – among the most relevant studies. Existence of rather large number of the equipment, software and also specifics of educational institution began those factors which stimulated the management of technical school to in a complex to solve a problem of ensuring data protection.

The data processing center carries out the analysis of the anti-virus software which is available in the market. As a result selected the solution of Kaspersky Lab - Kaspersky Total Security.

Project Progress

Implementation of the protective solution of Kaspersky Lab is carried out by the staff of data processing center of the Almetyevsk polytechnical technical school: the system administrator connected an administrative part on the server, then far off installed programs on 350 computers of network.

Project Results

The solution provided protection of corporate network against the malicious software and considerably reduced the number of failures in operation of the computer equipment.
