The specialist of TsKO the Center of computer-based training at MSTU of N.E. Bauman

In 18 years of work in Training Center over 450,000 IT specialists and users of information systems were trained. "Specialist" offers the greatest possible number of the authorized rates from the leading IT companies of the world and in the majority of the directions is the largest authorized training center. Specialist opened many IT certifications for the first in Russia. The center has 7 educational complexes in Moscow, branches in St. Petersburg and Rostov-on-Don.

Activity results

2013/2014 academic year

Turnover "The specialist made 846 million rubles (the previous year it equaled 798 million rubles. Though earlier the company stated about 752 million). The number of listeners – 80,000 (the previous year – 75,000, earlier the company stated about 66,500 people.). The total quantity of graduates for all the time of work of the Center in 2013/14 academic year reached more than 700,000 people. The best growth in the directions was shown: network rates of Microsoft (+16%), courses of programming and DBMS (+16%) and project management rates (+10%). The weakest results showed rates of Microsoft for developers" (-13%). The number of removed students of the Center this year grew by 16% in comparison with last year.

The training center started one more format - degree programs of professional training. Training in degree programs unites the most effective training methods: convenience and effectiveness of webinars, advantages of internal and intramural and extramural formats of training. Having been trained, listeners gain a new profession and the diploma about occupational retraining in the Spetsialist Center at MSTU to them N.E. Bauman.

Among corporate clients of Specialist the leading Russian and foreign companies, including, such as Sberbank of Russia, Gazprom, RAO UES of Russia, Lukoil, Aeroflot, Microsoft, Russian Railway, Moscow Metro, Kaspersky Lab, MGTS, Beeline, Megafon, MTS, multinational corporation, Canon, L’Oreal, LG, Tetra pak, Wimm-Bill-Dann and others continue to hold a specific place.

In 2013/14 more than 450 new or updated courses appeared in such directions as: network technologies and programming Microsoft, the Internet – technologies, information security, programming, DBMS, computer graphics, a CAD. The line of unique author's rates, including a line of rates for school students, design, management, accounting and 1C rates and also in many other directions is expanded.

2012

Annual turnover – 752 million rubles (632 million rubles for 2011). The number of listeners is 66 500 (60 000 in 2011). The total quantity of graduates for all the time of work of the Center exceeded 600,000 people.

The share of the Center in the authorized training of Microsoft (from 25% to 27%), Autodesk grew (from 30 to 33%), the market share in the authorized Cisco training significantly increased.

Trends and forecasts. In 2012 volumes of training in the directions "Project Management", "Information security", "Management and Entrepreneurship" grew at the advancing rates. Further increase in demand for these rates is predicted.

Forms of education. The groups of resident instruction passing on the guaranteed schedule: over 7500 groups, against 6500 in 2011. Connection of removed listeners to internal groups of the Center (webinars): the number of listeners of webinars grew to 7000 people (2000 in 2011). In a format of open training the Spetsialist Center in 2012 trained more than 2000 people at 187 rates.

New courses. In 2012 courses of mobile application development under iOS and Android are open. The range of rates for users of iPhone and iPad is expanded, teaching rates for mobile users the device under Android is begun. Training in the latest program is begun with products of Microsoft: SQL Server 2012, Windows 8, Windows Server 2012. Due to a release of new versions of products of Adobe, Autodesk, Graphisoft updated programs of rates. Investigation of Hacker Incidents rate on which for the first time in Russia the uniform technique of cybercriminalistics is taught is open.

Development of educational infrastructure. The new educational complex of the Center – Tula is open (m. "Tula"). For 25% the computer park is updated.

Recognition of professionals. Training at rates of the Spetsialist Center is recommended the Commission on web development of the Russian Association for Electronic Communications (RAEC).

But Spetsialist considers the main achievement trust of listeners and customers. In 2012 the median number of orders for one client grew by 10% in comparison with 2011. And this indicator best of all demonstrates quality which high level always remains primary for the Spetsialist Center.

2011/12 academic year

Turnover "The specialist made 734 million rubles (the previous year it equaled 581 million). Number of listeners – 61 thousand (the previous year – 53,500). The total quantity of graduates for all the time of work of the Center in 2011/12 academic year reached 598,000 people. "Specialist" remains the only training center in the rating of the largest IT companies of Russia (RA the Expert), having raised the positions on two points in comparison with the previous rating. The number of removed listeners grew to 7,000 people (against 4,000 in 2010).

The key area of work of Specialist is the authorized training in products of the leading vendors – Microsoft, Autodesk, 1C, Cisco, Google, Kaspersky Lab and others. In this Specialist area strengthened the leading positions. The share of the Center in the authorized training of Microsoft grew from 25% to 27%, in the authorized training of Autodesk – from 30 to 33%. Both vendors were recognized once again Specialist the best training center in the directions. "Specialist" became the only training center Adobe in Russia which passed a reavtorization. Obtaining the status of the authorized Apple training center became one of the most important events. In addition to authorization of Google AdWords "Spetsialist" received authorization of Google Android.

2010

The training center showed growth of volumes of training by 24% in relation to 2009. In total for the last year we trained record number of listeners — more than 52,000. At the same time for September, 2010 one more significant event in life of the Center was necessary — the semi-million listener successfully finished training.

In 2011 the further growth of turnover and a market share — both at the expense of new training programs, and due to expansion of network of educational complexes is planned. In 2010 two new modern, comfortable educational complexes opened: Victory Park and Bauman are only a first step in implementation of this strategy. Now in Moscow 8 educational complexes work, and new classes allow to increase number of at the same time trained listeners up to 1400 people.

In 2010 the training center saved and strengthened leadership in the authorized training. For the first time Specialist became the best training center Microsoft Rus not only in our country (as it was in 2004-2008), but also in Central and Eastern Europe. Every 4th certificate of Microsoft in Russia is issued in Specialist. Moreover, in December, 2010 Specialist the first in Russia received the highest partner status Microsoft Partner Gold Learning within the new affiliate program of Microsoft Partner Network. Today Specialist is the only training center in Russia having the highest partner status Gold. It means that we conform to the highest standards of training.

In the field of training of specialists Autodesk results even more impressive — the Center controls more than 30% of the market of the authorized training. Among new partners of the Center It should be noted such known vendors as the companies 1C-Bitrix and Google and also Chamber of Commerce and Industry Russian Federation, Association Internet of Developers (ACORUSES), the National union of personnel officers, Association of consultants for personnel recruitment.

That you studied with the maximum comfort, we develop training in the Webinar mode. In 2010 we considerably expanded the list of rates at which you can be trained remotely. The patented Webinar inClass technology allows listeners to be present fully at internal occupation of the Moscow group, to communicate with the teacher, to gain the same volume of knowledge, as listeners on internal occupation and not to spend at the same time time and funds for the road. 2014: The pirate of webinars of Specialist is punished for 2.5 million rubles and probation

On May 19, 2014 for the first time in judicial practice of Russia the sentence was pronounced to the Internet pirate trading in illegal distribution of videos of training courses. The court decided to collect a penalty from the criminal, to compensate to affected party the amount in the amount of 2,587,490 rub and to impose it sentence in the form of two years (conditionally).

According to Dmitry Gudzenko, the director of the Center of computer-based training, largest in Russia, Spetsialist at MSTU of N.E. Bauman, since 2013 the facts of paid distribution of records of the courses conducted online ("webinar") began to appear. Complaints of the deceived buyers for an incomplete complex of the provided services came to administration of the Spetsialist Center. The malefactor just could not provide a full range of the training materials and services provided by training center, the pupil. The clients who purchased piracy record of webinars did not gain necessary knowledge, i.e. in vain spent time and means. As a result of actions of the criminal the Center, in addition to material damage, could receive also notable blow to reputation.

Staff of Management "K" of BSTM Ministry of Internal Affairs of the Russian Federation was engaged in investigation of crime. As a result of prompt actions they soon delayed "pirate", and the court brought against it criminal case.
