The Pension Fund of the Russian Federation will purchase communication services on 1.4 billion

On December 4, 2013 the press service of the telecom operator MegaFon announced a victory of the company in an open competition on communication services provision to the Pension Fund of the Russian Federation (PFRF). The operator will provide with alternative channels of communication about 2,800 RPF territorial subdivisions.

Project Progress

MegaFon acquired the right to sign the public contract on rendering complex communication services for the Pension Fund of the Russian Federation in 2014 - 2015. The customer estimated the cost of services and works on the public contract at 1.42 billion rubles MegaFon offered the services for 1.367 billion rubles.

According to requirements of the customer, the complex service of communication includes accomplishment of the following works by the operator:

• connection of objects of RPF to network of the operator;
• creation and ensuring functioning of a reserve corporate data network;
• providing Internet access;
• providing mobile jobs.

Today more than 50 federal public authorities, the state enterprises and corporations and also organizations and off-budget funds select MegaFon as service provider of the fixed data transmission.
