Biography

Gorodissky Mikhail Lvovich is the Russian and Eurasian patent agent.

In 1950. Mikhail Lvovich graduated from international legal faculty of Institute of foreign trade and for 1963 worked in the Ministry of Foreign Trade of the USSR, IN "Litsenzintorg" and VO of "Mezhkniga".

From 1964 to 1998 in Chamber of Commerce and Industry of the USSR (then the Russian Federation), directed Management on patenting of inventions and VO of "Soyuzpatent". From 1998 to 2002 - worked as the president of Gorodissky and Partners law firm.

More than 50 years M.L. Gorodissky was engaged in author's and patent law and was one of the lawyers, most famous in the country, practicing in area of intellectual property. He was called by right "patriarch" of a patent case, both many domestic lawyers and patent agents considered him the teacher. Among M.L. Gorodissky's clients there were large domestic and foreign companies and corporations, academic both research institutes and laboratories, the famous scientists and cultural figures whose interests he successfully represented in Patent authorities, courts and administrative authorities and also advised under national and international legal acts on intellectual property and licensing.

Mikhail Lvovich Gorodissky made a huge contribution to formation and development of patent and license matter in the country - accession of the USSR to the Parisian convention on protection of the rights of an industrial property, creation in Russia of institute of patent agents, emergence of new laws on intellectual property, etc.

M.L. Gorodissky the author more than 160 publications on protection of intellectual property and licensed trade. Being a brilliant speaker, regularly spoke at conferences, the congresses and forums in the country and abroad. Gorodissky as the recognized expert in intellectual property, is widely known and we respect in the state, government and business community, among the creative intellectuals there are countries.
