NAVIXY Server is a software platform of an operator class for providing professional services of satellite monitoring.

Description

For operators of services NAVIXY Server – a scalable and reliable solution. It helps to start work of services of GPS monitoring in short terms, expanding and configuring a set of services. For software developers and system integrators the platform opens an opportunity to quickly implement GPS services of monitoring in already available or new projects.

For users of NAVIXY Server - the software product, as a part of which a broad spectrum of the applications connected with control of location, transport telemetry and diagnostics. It is effective in fleet management solving of tasks, mobile personnel, transport and logistic processes.

Integration of mapping services

In NAVIXY Server the possibility of joint work with all widespread services of WEB CARTOGRAPHY, geocoding and creation of routes is implemented. There is a possibility of creation of own layers with geo-data.

Low total cost of ownership

NAVIXY Server is not exacting to the expense level. It is reached for the account:

• Low requirements to infrastructure. Independence of a hardware platform provides freedom of choice of the equipment and the supplier. The high performance put at the level of architecture of the application and its program code allows to lower initial costs on the server hardware.
• Reliability and scalability are reached thanks to a possibility of placement of key services on different physical or virtual servers. As required you can increase server capacities without interruption in provision of services, and failure of one server will not lead to the termination of functioning of all center of monitoring.
• Cross-platform. The product provides independence of the operating system. The possibility of operation of freely extended products – OS of the Linux family and MySQL DBMS reduces license loading.
• PaaS and Cloud. It is not obligatory to develop the NAVIXY Server application on own purchased servers. The majority of implementations are implemented according to the scheme PaaS on the platform of data center NAVIXY Telehouse and also on leased dedicated servers (VDS) and in "clouds".
• Simplicity of operation and service. For support of the software solution narrow-purpose specialists are not necessary. From technical aspect NAVIXY Server is one of network services and can be serviced by the regular system administrator who completed a distance learning course of NAVIXY and having access to online-documentation.
• Transparent license policy. Using the open price offer, you can precisely calculate the cost of the solution and its payback. Use of competitive licenses allows to optimize acquisition value at all levels of development of your project.

2013: Changes in licensing

On November 27, 2013 NAVIXY provided essentially new licensing terms of the server platform for operators of services of monitoring NAVIXY ServerMate.

Innovations

The server product became free in a basis. All infrastructure services provided based on recently updated software are offered partners without collection of a payment for them. No restrictions for functionality of software for end users and operators at the same time are imposed.

In the updated technological solution there was available a connection of any models of the equipment, analytical reports, notifications, relaying, API, etc. For providers there are no limits on number of users and attached devices, access to all operator tools is open: to the system of billing, console of the engineer, customization of service, etc. However, the possibility of receiving the help and consultations in this case is limited to access to Wiki-documentation and answers of participants of community RusLink.info.

Paid NAVIXY ServerMate options remain are available and affect additional services with the added value (VAS) to which the agreement on the level of service (SLA) extends. Treat like those:

• unlimited use of databases of the systems of geocoding,
• laying of routes,
• location on base stations, etc.

To partners, working at the commercial bases, connection of external gateways (the SMS, Email), integration of the new equipment, development according to technical projects and also direct technical support from specialists of developer is available.
