Vneshtorgbank implements a DLP system

On January 14, 2014 the company SearchInform announced implementation DLP- systems "Circuit of information security of SearchInform" in joint stock company VTB bank.

Project Tasks

Large banks impose increased requirements to DLP systems. Speed and stability of work of systems in the conditions of strong loadings, quality of data analysis and also scalability of the solution are regarded as of paramount importance. A system should is transparent to be integrated into the existing IT infrastructure and not to interfere with business processes of bank.

Beginning the project specialists of SearchInform carried out pilot system implementation for its adaptation to real information flows and specific needs of the customer. The complex of works included:

• delivery and system deployment;
• setup and adaptation for functioning in specific conditions of IT infrastructure of the customer;
• setup and completion regarding display of results of search queries under specific needs of the customer;
• training of employees of the bank in skills of work with a system;
• continued consulting and technical support.

Project Results

Result of works on system implementation "A circuit of information security of SearchInform" in JSC Bank VTB there was a possibility of processing and archiving of considerable information volumes, implementation of the set policy of storage and cleaning of archives. Use of unique technology "search similar" allowed to create results of any search queries within one minute on terabyte data arrays.

Alexander Golubev, the head of department on information security support of JSC Bank VTB, noted: "When choosing a system we first of all paid attention to sweep rate among big arrays of information. "Circuit" differed from analogs those that search queries were fulfilled much quicker. Taking into account our information volumes, this criterion was one of decisive. We also understood that any product requires completions under us and under our unique tasks, it is simply impossible to provide all "from a box". The SearchInform company appeared at height, having fulfilled all our requirements in a short time. There is a wish to note high qualification of technical specialists of SearchInform which allowed, thanks to harmonious and accurate work of two commands – with ours and from their party – to perform setup of a system and its introduction to the "fighting" mode".
