Valery Konyavsky, research supervisor of VNIIPVTI

Was born on March 2, 1956.

After the termination in 1982 of the Moscow Institute of Electronic Technology (MIET) worked at the enterprises of the Ministry of Electronic Industry (MEI).

Since 1988 works in the All-Russian Research Institute of problems of ADP equipment and informatization (VNIIPVTI), from 2000 to 2009 - headed it.

One of founders of OKB SAPR, the enterprise in the field of information technical protection. Directs the researches connected with the solution of theoretical problems of information technical protection, information security support and development of systems in the protected execution, development of the information security facility NSD and PSKZI of the series "Accord", "ShIPKA", "Secret", "MARCH!" and others. Conducts vigorous scientific and teaching activity.

Since 1999 - the Doctor of Engineering, since 2000 - the academician of the Russian Academy of Natural Sciences, the academician-secretary of AEN.

Area of scientific interests - data protection and the theory of the electronic document. The author more than 180 works, including inventions, patents and 8 monographs, the most important of which "Management of data protection based on the information security facility of NSD "Accord" (M., 1999), "Bases of understanding of a phenomenon of electronic information exchange" (Minsk, 2004), "Computer crimes" (Moscow, volume 1 - 2006, volume 2 - 2008).

Member of editorial boards of a number of scientific magazines, such as "Safe information technologies", "Questions of data protection", "Information technologies of Territorial Department", etc.
