On January 27, 2014 the I-Teco company announced completion of works on support of the project of start of data center of DataPro company in Tver which became the first basic node of network of data centers of this company.
Project Tasks
In the winter of 2013 specialists of I-Teco company started development of continuously maintainable infrastructure of data center corresponding to the class Tier III Uptime Institute. Design and construction of an engineering complex are executed in a short time: in October, 2013 the first start of engineering infrastructure of data center is made, and start in production operation took place on November 22, 2013.
Project Progress
During the project specialists of I-Teco performed works on design, designer's service and management of start of engineering infrastructure of data center and also its certification on the Tier III Design level. The data center of "DataPro" with a total area of 2,650 sq.m is expected placement in four machine halls up to 400 IT racks, as with a standard power of 5 kW, and high-loaded - energy consumption up to 20 kW on a rack.
The high level of availability of services and resources of DPC is provided with a backbone network of communication with capacity of channels up to 100 Gbps.
For increase in energy efficiency and utilization coefficient of the engineering equipment of power supply systems of data center for the first time in Russia the scheme of reservation 3/2N is implemented. Such solution combines profitability and efficiency, but is not inferior on reliability to traditional schemes. Use of this scheme reduced by 30% the capital investments in a power supply system at full save of levels of reliability and maintainability.
Cooling of data center is executed using precision conditioners of the Uniflair by Schneider Electric brand, with the lower air supply, using architecture of separation of hot and cold corridors. For each machine hall 7 conditioners working according to the scheme of reservation N+1 that also the humidity allows to maintain temperature in machine halls in the range of 25±2 °C and 50±10% with a high accuracy are provided.
The system of automatic gas fire fighting is created on freon-227. At the same time on an object the system of superearly detection of smoke from Vesda company is installed.
Physical security data center is ensured by the duplicated protected perimeter, engineering video surveillance systems, biometric access control and a security system. Safety of the broadcast data is ensured due to use of firewalls Cisco ASA, firewalls, technologies NAT and IPsec VPN.
Project Results
"Professionalism and coordination of work of project teams of both companies allowed to complete creation of data center in the planned time. The standard project of commercial DPC based on which the network of data centers "DataPro" will develop further was for the first time developed. Now we already conduct work on design of the second DPC of network which will be expected placement up to 3000 racks. Experience on design of network of commercial data centers allows to reach new level provision of services on design", – Vladimir Shchetinin, the director of development center of infrastructure solutions of I-Teco company noted.
