Sanjar is a graduate of the Pennsylvanian State University on the "Human Factor and Artificial Intelligence" profile and the former research associate of laboratory of Artificial Intelligence at the Massachusetts Institute of Technology where it conducted researches on behavioural technologies, including automatic monitoring of psychiatric and neurologic diseases together with the Harvard medical school.
Sanjar headed an information architecture of Tribune corporation which includes such online assets as Los Angeles Times, Chicago Tribune and 23 television stations. The record of service of Kettebekov includes work in global IT consulting with the companies from the list of Fortune 500 and also development of search interfaces for Yahoo! and the systems of crisis management for the New York transport agency.
Sanjar is the founder of a technology incubator of Segment Interactive, specializing in technologies of monetization of media and online commerce. His company - Receptive presenting a new solution according to the analysis of susceptibility to online advertizing was included in the list of 'the promising private media companies' according to AlwaysOn (onMedia 2012 and 2013).
Dr. projects. Kettebekova were sponsored by National Fund for Science and Department for Defense of the USA, including the biggest project in the history on artificial intelligence. The project on multimodal interaction with the computer was a semifinalist of an award for the Innovation of Year according to the Discover magazine.
Sanjar is a reviewer through ACM SigCHI and IEEE Computer Society and the author of a number of publications, including — heads in the Berkshire Encyclopedia (Human-Computer Interaction).
