On February 11, 2014 specialists of LANIT reported: the automated hydrological complexes (AHC) of the supervisory network "Managements of Hydrometeorological Service and Monitoring of the Environment (UGMS) of the Republic of Tatarstan" are put into operation.
Project Results
The operational information arriving with set to AGK, hourly comes to the Center of collecting, processing and transfer of hydrological information located in UGMS. The acquired information will be especially valuable during development of a spring high water and floods. The different departments (first of all the Ministry of Emergency Situations) making operational decisions will be able to trace a status of water bodies in the online mode.
Sensors of meteorological values (temperature and air humidity, pressure of an atmospheric air, atmospheric precipitation, height of snow cover) enter into the structure of AGK, in addition to sensors of water level and its temperature.
Complexes are set on 11 hydrological posts. Information arrives in the XML format that provides data transmission in the integrated flow. Collecting and management are performed in the Centers of Data Collection of Observations (CDCO). The management system implements a possibility of remote change of intervals of data transmission, data transmission on demand, installation of threshold values for disturbing notifications about the dangerous hydrometeorological phenomena.
Sergey Zakharov, the chief of Federal State Budgetary Institution UGMS Respubliki Tatarstan, noted: "All automatic complexes set by specialists of LANIT work steadily and without failures. The issue with coding as all functionality is implemented in TsSDN is easily resolved. It is also necessary to note efficiency and quality of accomplishment of installation and commissioning of stations by specialists of integrator. Besides, advised LANIT and trained the personnel servicing AGK".
"Representatives of Federal State Budgetary Institution UGMS Respubliki Tatarstan showed high professionalism and readiness for new approaches. Transition to the new unified transmission format of XML data considerably will reduce labor costs by a commissioning and service of complexes. Data processing happens on a centralized basis, departures at the station for a software update are necessary extremely seldom now, and preparation of the software for installation on complexes of AGK takes literally several days", - Sergey Mikhalev, the head of gidrometresheniye of department of network integration of LANIT told.
