Vostokgazprom upgrades an enterprise management system

On February 12, 2014 it became known of implementation of the new version of Microsoft Dynamics AX in Vostokgazprom company. Works in the project were carried out by Tops Consulting company.

Project Tasks

Before as the main IT system of management the group used two applications on the basis of the ERP system of Microsoft Axapta 3.0 — separate installations for Vostokgazprom and Tomskgazprom companies (subsidiary company). Existence of two systems did not facilitate creation of the summary reporting under group, complex systems of synchronization of data between the companies and applications, non-standard registers of settlement and comparisons were required that caused additional load of employees.

The management of Vostokgazprom saw development and a basis for further growth in accumulation of speed of providing information for decision making by managers of the company, cost optimization on IT due to consolidation of bases and applications of all economic entities, creation of uniform IT space for support of business and providing high-quality service to users.

Tops Consulting and Vostokgazprom faced a joint project team a task - to save the available practices in the field of business process automation of the company and to increase, relying on opportunities of the new version of the Microsoft Dynamics AX system.

Project Results

As a result of execution of the project the speed and performance of the ERP system is increased, its functionality is expanded, key business processes are optimized.

A new system on the Microsoft Dynamics AX platform provides with technology support the key directions of financial and economic activity of Vostokgazprom. By means of the created solution management of investment programs, monetary to means, is implemented by stocks, receivables and payables, planning of budgets, property, financial accounting.
