InterBridge is the technology of broadcast of graphic and semantic 2D/3D data between a CAD and PLM of different platforms allowing to create final uniform project digital model of an object means of the platform set under the terms of the contract.

InterBridge is not the boxed solution, but adaptable technology which the company sells only within large IT projects.

The solution is directed to the companies of the industries of industrial processing and production working in a heterogeneous IT environment:

Features of integration

When implementing InterBridge technology for the specific platform, three levels of integration are determined:

  • Level 1: Provides transfer between a 2D/3D CAD only of the graphic information with the configured detail level.

  • Level 2: Provides transfer between a 2D/3D CAD of graphic and semantic information on different platforms.

  • Level 3: Provides transfer without loss (or with the set losses) an information structure of a designed project from initial PDM/ PLM- systems in target with preserving of interrelations between objects of uniform project digital model.

Program implementation of InterBridge technology does not provide development of the own interchange format data and uses already applied formats of data (initial formats are a CAD, STEP, SAT, etc.) that significantly simplifies its implementation.

Functionality

Possibilities of navigation:

  • rotation;
  • change of scale;
  • movement in the horizontal plane (X-Y);
  • movement in vertical direction (Z);
  • choice, centering of elements;
  • preserving of the list of views with the detailed description.

Display of attributive information in InterBridge on the example of a 3D model of the Smolensk NPP, 2014


Actions over a 3D model:

  • creation of different sections of model dynamic orthogonal planes;
  • detection of space and temporary collisions and management of them;
  • measurement of distance (with a binding), corners, the areas, reading of coordinates and sizes of separate elements;
  • implementation of the "red pencil" function;
  • import of several 3D models in the form of logical layers;
  • conversion of coordinate systems.

Work with data and documents:

  • viewing put directly in a 3D model or in the database of attributive information on the selected elements;
  • search of elements in internal attributes and fields of databases on the basis of requests (the master of creation of requests contains), search in the text;
  • formation of fast specifications for the selected elements;
  • creation of inter-element couplings of a 3D model and any documents.

Visual effects:

  • management of transparency, lighting;
  • support of parameters of materials and texture stage, layers in the file of model, raster cards of the big sizes, flowers and styles;
  • display of a 3D model in the form of a frame grid;
  • printing and preserving of the selected images in a raster with smoothing and high resolution (to 24576 x 24576).

Additional opportunities:

  • support of GPS receivers (under the NMEA protocol) that allows to trace the observer's provision on the card, to save a trajectory of the movement and characteristic points in model;
  • communication with the systems of calendar and resource planning (MS Project, Oracle Primavera) for monitoring of SMR.

2015: InterBridge received independence

On November 19, 2015 the Neolant company announced the beginning of independent life of the InterBridge software product.

From now on any enterprise for own problems of design, construction management, operation, decommissioning can purchase it.

Neolant Group claims that InterBridge:

  • the most compact - the size of the software distribution kit is 2 MB;
  • the fastest - with InterBridge of a 3D model of large objects even on normal office computer literally "fly" (to several hundred thousands of elements) as it opens them for read seconds, allows to make easily any manipulations with model;
  • the most productive - InterBridge allows "lift" very large-scale 3D models (in several hundred thousands of elements), using at the same time rather small amount of RAM;
  • the most universal - the product is unique in terms of quantity and quality (not only geometry, but also attributes) of conversion popular technology CAD/PLM formats.


Functionality of the released InterBridge

1. Navigation on a 3D model

Operational choice of a suitable foreshortening of an object: choice/centering of elements, rotation, movement on horizontals/verticals, change of scale of a 3D model, setup of different types (on top/from below, in front/behind, on the right/at the left).

2. Access to attributive information.

Access to put directly in a 3D model (on click on an element) or in the database of attributive information on the selected elements.

3. Intellectual search

Search in attributes of elements or in the text. At the same time it is possible to set compound search conditions, connecting several criteria using logical operators "Both" and "OR".

4. Work with structure of a 3D model

Allows to hide or display quickly necessary for the user parts of a 3D model at present. For example, the user can visualize only the pipeline or only one premises and the equipment which is in it interesting him.

5. Creation of dynamic sections

It is possible to set the following orientations: by the form, on top/from below, in front/behind, on the right/at the left.

6. Carrying out geometrical measurements

It is possible to take measurements of distances (between two last points), corners (between the lines formed by three last points) and the areas of objects (is calculated for a polygon between all selected points).

7. Automatic detection of collisions

Allows to find in the automatic mode geometrical intersections between 3D model elements. For example, the designer can instantly find all collisions between the architectural and construction part of the project developed in one CAD and the engineering part developed in other CAD.

8. Work with a cloud of points of laser scanning

Allows to load clouds of points of laser scanning for the subsequent comparison "as it is designed" and "as it is constructed".
