AutoCAD 2012

The line of programs 2012 allows to use AutoCAD in a set of the industries and to work on projects irrespective of location of the user. All specialized versions of AutoCAD are supplied with new means of adaptation that engineers, architects and designers could realize the ideas, work on the project documentation and interact with each other with use of the checked DWG technology. Also new versions of programs provide direct link with the free application for browsers and the mobile devices AutoCAD WS.

So, thanks to direct access to AutoCAD WS from AutoCAD 2012 users can browse, edit and exchange design data with anyone and from where it is necessary, using the browser or mobile devices. Mobile application of AutoCAD WS at the moment supports devices on the Apple iOS platform, including iPad and iPhone.

According to Autodesk, the improved possibilities of a professional CAD for preparation and the detailing of AutoCad drawings of LT 2012, support of hardware acceleration and the general optimization of a program runtime can provide performance improvement. Among key new product capabilities: associative arrays — allow to set and maintain interrelations between elements, for example windows of the building or farms of the bridge that provides saving of time during creation of outline sketches and preparation of the work documentation; multifunction handles — accelerate and simplify process of editing thanks to a possibility of direct manipulation (except polylines and objects of shading, using multifunction handles it is possible to manage lines, arcs, elliptical arcs, the sizes and multivyvnoska); the manager of filings — will organize sheets of drawings, simplifies the publication, automatically creates types on sheets, transfers data from filings to the main texts and stamps (all necessary information is brought together that considerably simplifies access to it); function of automatic end — displays the list of suitable names on the command input, system variables and aliases in the command line.

AutoCAD 2012 includes all improvements of AutoCAD LT 2012 and also the new and optimized technologies of conceptual design, documentation release and reproduction of the current conditions. Besides, AutoCAD 2012 contains means 3D - design, documentation and to accelerate project implementation allowing to save time by preparation.

Among the new and improved product capabilities it is possible to select: means of preparation of documentation — allow to import models from a set of other CAD (including Autodesk Inventor, Solidworks, CATIA, NX and Rhino) and to quickly develop intellectual documentation on the basis of data retrieveds; the application for conceptual 3D - design of Autodesk Inventor Fusion — is now a part of AutoCAD 2012, the Inventor Fusion technology is capable to connect possibilities of the parametrical modeling saving all background of elements to ease of use and high efficiency of direct modeling, at the same time integration of AutoCAD and Inventor Fusion accelerates data transmission between these applications and others 3D-SAPR; support of clouds of points (up to 2 billion points in size) — allows to visualize quickly scanned objects directly in the environment of modeling, helping to optimize labor-intensive process of work on projects of restoration and reconstruction.

In turn, AutoCAD Architecture 2012 provides quicker start of the program and loading of drawings now, allowing to get without delay access to tools and big drawings. In particular, a new opportunity allows to place without effort windows (with frames or without them) in angular intersections of two walls.

AutoCAD MEP 2012 — the software product for design of the engineering systems of buildings — contains the built-in means of performance improvement and support functions facilitating access to dynamic and interactive 3D - to modeling of the engineering systems. Support of IFC (Industry Foundation Classes) in AutoCAD MEP allows to exchange data with other project participants.

AutoCAD Electrical 2012 — the software product for design of electrical systems of management — provides expanded support of international standards and contains new training materials and the intuitive interface which allow to master quickly the program and to receive from it a return maximum, creating the innovation electrotechnical projects without errors.

AutoCAD Mechanical 2012 allows to edit 3D models from any sources using Inventor Fusion now and to create intellectual drawing views with the help of new means of documentation release. The product also provides the improved transfer of specifications, contains the optimized means of joint work which allow to increase performance, without breaking the current workflows.
