nanoCAD Structures - the product is intended for designers who develop sets of working drawings of monolithic and prefabricated structures of KZh and KZhI grades.
The system is aimed at specialists involved in calculations, design and issue of detailed design documentation of columnar and tape foundations on natural and pile foundations, in strict accordance with domestic norms and standards. It contains nanoCAD functionality for performing basic drawing tasks with full support for the *.dwg format.
System modules
nanoCAD Designs - Module Design
nanoCAD Designs - Design is a specialized module as part of the nanoCAD Design software package, designed to configure the complex and design working drawings in accordance with the requirements of SPDS. The module is supplied and operates in the same interface with other modules of the complex. It contains nanoCAD functionality for performing basic drawing tasks with full support for the *.dwg format.
The main functions of the Design module are:
- control of settings of parameters of all elements of the program;
- Use standard layers and create custom layers to customize their properties.
- Save settings to a file for later use in other projects.
- Drawing construction axes individually or as a pattern
- Designating associative elevations and plan elevations in the drawing

nanoCAD Constructions - QoL module
nanoCAD Structures - QoL - is a specialized module as part of the nanoCAD Design software package designed for designers who develop sets of working drawings of QoL and QoL grades in strict accordance with domestic norms and standards.
The main functions of the QoL module are:
- development of QoL and QI grade drawings in accordance with domestic standards;
- development of drawings of QoL and QI grades in accordance with DBN V. 2.6-98: 2009 (Ukraine);
- use of universal tools of schematic and detailed reinforcement;
- automatic control of design standards as per SNiP 2.03.01-84, SP 52-101-2003;
- automatic specification of reinforcement products;

Reinforced concrete structures reinforcement tools
Schematic reinforcement The scope of the software of this section is the implementation of reinforcement schemes for reinforced concrete structures. The capabilities of the offered tools:
- Selecting a regulatory document from the Rebar Assortment dialog box, which determines the subsequent choice of the class and diameter of the linear reinforcement elements (rods and parts), as well as control parameters when creating them;

The scope of the software of this section is the execution of drawings for reinforcing sections and parts of reinforced concrete structures. The capabilities of the offered tools:

- determining the length of the drawn cross section of the rod or part , taking into account the method of determining its length in the structure (by the length of the structure, by the specified length);
- possibility to use registered grades of reinforcement products created during development of reinforcement schemes;
- Conversion of standard *.dwg drawing elements (lines, polylines , and arcs) to detail reinforcement objects (rods and parts)
- editing rods;
- the order of the rods in the drawing (this allows you to get an idea of the location of the rods in the structure);
- drawing the boundaries of the protective layer for its subsequent use in reinforcing the structure;
- distribution of cross sections of rods in the structure ( taking into account regulatory requirements);
- drawing of clamps, studs and clamps (front view) by previously drawn cross sections of rods with subsequent registration of part drawing;

Embedded parts
The Embedded Products tool set offers the following options:

Metal truss drawing
- arbitrary cutting of rolled metal elements , including holes of arbitrary configuration;
- drawing a countersink hole in the form of a rolled sheet on top and on the side with checking the decision;
- adding an embossed head to the detail rods;
- designation of bending diameter for drawing of reinforcement bars of detailed reinforcement;
- image of the weld in plan and section;
- generation of slinging loop marks with drawing of slinging loop mark on the drawing and its subsequent use in schematic reinforcement.
Reinforcement products
Section is intended for development of drawings of welded meshes and frames tags. The Welded Grids tool in accordance with GOST 23279-85 allows you to quickly and correctly select parameter values, automatically perform calculations, and prepare an image of the grid or frame tag for insertion into the drawing. All selected grid parameters correspond to GOST values.
Inthe process of creating grid tags, the following parameters are fulfilled:
- sets of diameters of longitudinal and transverse rods are automatically monitored by welding conditions and compliance of grid dimensions with permitted parameters;
- the set of diameters automatically changes in accordance with the regulatory document adopted at the stage of starting work on the project (SNiP 2.03.01-84 or SP 52-101-2003);
- The overall grid dimensions (length and width) are automatically calculated based on the selected product parameters. If the resulting value exceeds the allowed value, the program does not allow you to create a grid;
- A standard product tag is automatically generated for insertion into the BOM.
- the total weight of the product is calculated automatically (data of the rods included in the grid are used);
- the program allows, using special tools for cutting standard reinforcement products and assembling a new brand from disparate detailed, schematic reinforcement elements and rolled metal elements, to form non-standard reinforcement products.
The technology, procedure and possibility of forming drawings of reinforcement frame marks are similar to the process of forming drawings of welded reinforcement mesh marks.
Associative Leaders
contains commands for creating associative leaders in a drawing that provide a rigid link between data in a leader and a feature.
- Feature symbol (creates a single leader and leader from a group of features). When you create a leader from a group of elements, the parameters of each element are controlled. It is used for schematic, detailed reinforcement elements and embedded parts.
- Comb leader. When you create a leader from a group of elements, the parameters of each element are controlled. Used for schematic and detailed reinforcement elements.

Associative callouts to all reinforcement features automatically update the leader data when you change the object properties and leader feature data .
Assemblies and Schedules
The section contains commands that perform service functions. The capabilities provided by the tools in this section are:
- possibility to unbend the anchor hook;
- Registering the part drawing for subsequent use of the generated tag in the structure drawings
- cutting an array of rods to create non-standard reinforcing products;
- assembly and marking of items from separate reinforcement elements , including reinforcement and embedded parts.
- Prefabricated reinforced concrete structures
Composite jumpers above openings
The section contains a database of standard elements (bar, slab, facade, rolled metal stock) used in the formation of composite jumpers. The jumper section base includes many ready-made sections, and also provides the ability to:
- quick and convenient formation and editing of sections using a special dialogue;
- convenient selection of sections from the base - according to the parameters of the opening and wall.
The program automatically selects implementation options for each section element in the project database, creates a tag , and stores all necessary information in the drawing. When forming a jumper, the graphic parameters automatically track the correspondence of the data from the database, if they do not match, the program informs the user about the error. Lists and schedules of jumpers by floors, fragments or throughout the object are generated automatically.

Floor slabs
contains a database of standard floor slabs. The following functions are implemented:
- laying out both a single plate and an array of user-defined plates;
- automatic layout of slabs in a given area, selection of several layout options using slabs from the project base;
- control of slab support on the wall;
- distribution of monolith over the area;
- editing the layout and single slabs;
- rearrangement of slabs and monolithic areas within the existing layout area;
- merging and splitting monolithic areas within the layout;
- replacing the slab with a cast-in-situ area and vice versa, as well as replacing the slab with a plate of a different size;
- renumbering floor slabs;
- obtaining information on said plates;
- generation of floor slab schedules per floor, object, as selected in the drawing;
- Calculate in the layout schedule the number of embedded items drawn in the layout drawing using the Schematic Element Schematic Reinforcement tool.

nanoCAD Structures - Foundations
nanoCAD Structures - Foundations is a specialized module as part of the nanoCAD Design software complex designed to prepare layouts and drawings of columnar foundations on a pile and natural foundation, including calculation of the foundation by deformations for the foundations of columns of industrial and civil buildings, calculation of the pile cluster for strength by the bearing capacity of the pile and calculation of monolithic and prefabricated tape foundations.
Main functions of the Foundation module
- Calculation, design and receipt of a set of working drawings of columnar foundations on a pile and natural foundation.
- Calculation, design and receipt of a set of working drawings of cast-in-situ and prefabricated tape foundations on a pile and natural foundation.
- Draw piles of different configurations ( with automatic graphical separation of elements that differ in parameters) and obtain phased and summary specifications for pile fields.
- Execution of deliverables by means of the "Execution" module in strict accordance with the SPDS requirements.
Foundations shall be calculated and designed in accordance with the following regulatory documents:
- SNiP 2.02.01-83 Foundations of buildings and structures;
- Manual for designing the foundations of buildings and structures (Moscow, 1986);
- SNiP 2.02.03-85 Pile foundations;
- SP 50-102-2003 Design and construction of pile foundations;

Columnar foundations on natural base
- Calculation, design and drawing of a separate foundation for double single reinforced concrete or metal columns of arbitrary position and orientation in plan in direct or reverse task mode (prefabricated and monolithic version of design for reinforced concrete columns).

2014: nanoCAD Designs 4.5
On February 27, 2014, Nanosoft announced the release of an updated version of the nanoCAD Design program.
nanoCAD Designs 4.5 fully supports drawings made in Project StudioCS versions 5.5, 5.6. Drawings created in Project StudioCS 6.0, which is currently being released, will also be supported.
Now as part of the nanoCAD Constructs complex, two components:
- nanoCAD Constructs - QoL ( in previous versions - nanoCAD Constructs program);
- nanoCAD Structures - Foundations ( in previous versions - nanoCAD Foundations program).
The complex is based on a new version of the platform - nanoCAD 5.0. SQL Server 2008 R2 Express databases are used.

Assembly and marking of LB-structure
