Key Financial Indicators
History
2025: Preparing for IPO
On April 1, 2025, it became known that the Russian developer of engineering software "Nanosoft" will hold an initial public offering (IPO) on the Moscow Exchange. The funds raised are planned to be used for further business development.
According to RBC Investments, referring to information received from knowledgeable sources in the financial market, as part of the IPO, Nanosoft expects to receive up to 3 billion rubles. The organizing banks have been identified for placement, but their names have not been disclosed. Industry participants believe that the upcoming Nanosoft IPO will be similar to the placement of Arenadat when the software developer managed to raise a comparable amount. Nanosoft CEO Andrei Seravkin told RBC Investments that the company is developing dynamically and "is constantly exploring opportunities for further business growth."
Public status, in addition to attracting investor funds, will allow us to implement additional partnership options for the development of our business, as well as strengthen the corporate brand. But no specific decision has yet been made, "Seravkin said. |
Leonid Delitsyn, an analyst at the Finam financial group, emphasizes that Nanosoft's business does not intersect with other public IT companies on the Russian market. Nevertheless, these enterprises will still compete with each other for investor funds. The risks for Nanosoft, experts referred to by RBC Investments, are called the possible refusal of the state from import substitution and the return of foreign players to the software market, provided the geopolitical situation stabilizes. As Andrei Petrov, director of work with wealthy clients at BCS World of Investments, adds, investors are not sure that the trend towards import substitution is solid, and "some companies will use foreign solutions at the first opportunity, not domestic ones."[2]
2024: Data breach of 1 million users
In early December 2024, it became known that cybercriminals had at their disposal the personal data of about 1 million users of the products of the Russian CAD manufacturer Nanosoft. The stolen information is publicly available on the Internet.
According to the Telegram channel "Information Leaks," a full SQL dump of the nanocad.ru website ("Nanosoft") got on the Web. The database contains data such as surnames and usernames, their gender, dates of birth, phone numbers, email addresses, hashed passwords. In total, the leak includes 959,565 lines with personal information.
Nanosoft is engaged in the development of engineering software: computer-aided design (CAD/CAD) technologies, information modeling (TIM/BIM) and support of industrial and civil construction (ASG) facilities at all stages of the life cycle, as well as means of end-to-end digitalization of all processes in production. The flagship product is the domestic CAD platform nanoCAD. The Nanosoft website says that more than 15 thousand customers from various fields use its solutions.
As of December 4, 2024, the Nanosoft company itself does not comment on the leak situation. Using stolen personal information, attackers can organize deeply personalized phishing attacks and other fraudulent schemes aimed at stealing money. Cybercriminals get the opportunity to put victims to sleep, which significantly increases the chances of a fraudulent campaign succeeding. At the same time, leaked phone numbers allow mass advertising calls.
Until now, "in private" there is another dump of the same resource (nanocad.ru), dating back to January 7, 2024, "warns the Telegram channel" Information Leaks[3]" |
