"OAK-Transportnye airplanes" upgraded IT infrastructure

On March 4, 2014 the AMT Group company announced completion of works on creation of information and technology infrastructure for development of the multi-purpose transport airplane (MTA) in structure of JSC OAK-Transportnye samolety.

Project Tasks

Project objective - creation of the IT environment necessary for ensuring functioning of automated systems of design of MTA according to the Russian-Indian agreement on its development and production.

Specialists of AMT Group were faced by a task - to construct all infocommunication ecosystem in a short time, beginning from cable infrastructure and the switching LAN, DPC environment, finishing with components of information systems - DBMS, e-mail, a directory service and so forth.

Project Progress

The held actions:

• Within the project specialists of AMT Group created a LAN with the developed structure, providing connection of workstations and also additional peripheral devices. By means of work of a high-performance core of network the required speed of switching, reservation and level of reliability is provided.

• The system of corporate communication on the basis of IP telephone exchange of Avaya, provides connection of required number of subscribers and has reserves for further expansion and development. The wireless segment of DECT and a pilot zone of a system of unified communications based on Microsoft Lync is a part of a telephone network.

• Computer systems administrative and design segments as a part of which servers, storage systems, servers of backup and tape libraries are deployed.

• For ensuring life activity of computer systems of DPC specialists created the engineering systems, the including systems of uninterruptible power supply and ensuring climate of Emerson company.

• At the application layer the complex of system services, in particular, virtualization, directory services, e-mails, a network and file service is implemented.

• The information security system providing the security level of an information system necessary for the customer and counteraction to a broad spectrum of potential threats is created.

• The subsystem for the organization of joint work — a web conference on the software platform Microsoft Lync Server 2010 by means of which the modes of the web presentation of the documents MS PowerPoint, MS Word and MS Excel, shared access to applications and desktops are provided is created.

• The VKS complex from group and personal exchange service stations of a video conferencing of the high definition (HD) of production of Polycom company is brought into operation.

• Management of a hardware and software system is implemented by means of the MS SCCM system that provides a number of control functions and application monitoring, servers, workstations, to management of software updating, the reporting and DBMS.

"On the one hand, creation of such complex of systems from scratch simplified process of their mutual coordination as there were no legacy and outdated solutions.
