On April 11, 2014 the Black Earth INTECO company and consulting company "Strategic Partner Dnieper" announced the final of the joint project of complex control automation and accounting in Agroalyans LLC.

Project Tasks

One of the tasks facing company management - decrease in cost value of products. For achievement of this purpose it was required improvement of quality of planning of agricultural activity, to organize accurate production accounting of field and repair work, to provide operational formation of budgets for control of financial and material resources.

The former information system solved only problems of financial accounting. The central office did not obtain up-to-date data about works on fields, agricultural products cost accounting, cost analysis on cultures, it were represented to types of agricultural works and divisions by difficult tasks.

At the beginning of 2013 plant management made the decision on creation of an end-to-end information system which would allow to solve all these problems.

Project Progress

The first stage of the project - work on improvement of a management structure of Agroalyans, it was performed by consultants of SP-Dnepr company. At this stage partners developed methodology of budgeting and a form of budgets of the enterprise, formulated requirements to a new information system, held the tender for the choice of the software product and the contractor for implementation.

As a basis for creation of an information system of a crop complex 1C was selected ": Management of agricultural enterprise 8" - industry solution. The Black Earth INTECO company which developed this solution together with 1C Company became the partner in implementation.

At the second stage of the project unification and systematization of the basic principles of accounting and document flow of the enterprise is executed. Instructions for work with a system are developed for different categories of users (accountants, agronomists, accountants, economists, managers, clerks, financiers).

A new system was brought into operation in 6 months after the beginning of the project. 20 jobs at the central office and two remote branches "Agroalyans" are automated.

Project Results

  • The model of budget planning and the plan-fact analysis is improved that helped to strengthen control of distribution of financial and material resources. The enterprise could calculate more precisely planned requirement in seeds, fertilizers, fuel and lubricants and means of protecting of plants. Timely purchases of necessary raw materials and materials are provided.

  • Operational accounting of field and repair work is adjusted. There was an opportunity to carry out contrastive analysis of volumes of actually performed works and also an expense of material resources on work types and cultures with the planned targets and regulations set in process charts. It helps the management to plan and to objectively estimate work of divisions.

  • Accuracy of planned cost calculation of agricultural works and productivity increased that allows to predict future financial results of divisions more precisely. Comparison of planned and actual cost of products according to different cost items helps the enterprise to control expenses and to reveal reserves for their decrease. In general, production costs are reduced by 5%.

  • Integration of the program with the system of electronic removal of weight on current at shipment of finished goods helped to exclude losses and cases of plunder of agricultural products.

  • Maintaining the agroecological passport of a field for formation of history of fields is provided. It helped to optimize placement of crops taking into account their predecessors and also field indicators (soil type, mechanical structure, the maintenance of microelements, etc.).

  • Thanks to solution integration with an external geographic information system, the including possibility of GPS monitoring, control of the movement and loading of motor transport and agricultural machinery is strengthened. Managers have up-to-date data on location, the flowing and planned load of the equipment, actually performed works, the passable distance and a consumption of fuel and lubricants at any moment. The consumption of fuel and lubricants is reduced by 7%, the discipline of work of machine operators and drivers increased, empty run of the equipment are excluded.

  • System implementation of electronic document management provided operational data exchange between divisions. Approval of agreements accelerated, loss of documents is excluded.

  • Work of accounting, personnel department and settlement department became simpler. Twice payroll to the employees and also charge of the rent on shares accelerated. Control of settlement with suppliers of the main resources is strengthened.

The created information system provided implementation at the enterprise of uniform standards of accounting, gave great opportunities to specialists of management personnel for planning, control and the analysis of activity in crop production, optimal use of material and financial resources. System implementation of budgeting provides standardization of documents of financial planning and control, operational formation of the main budgets. We are sure that advantages of the created system: the broad industry functionality, a modern technology platform of a product - 1C:Enterprise 8 - will help our company and further to develop and improve a management system".

The information system constructed on the basis of "1C: Management of agricultural enterprise 8", helped to improve quality of planning of agricultural works, to optimize placement of crops on fields, to strengthen control of loading of transport and special equipment. Timely purchases of seeds, fertilizers and means of protecting of plants are provided. Accuracy of calculation of production cost value increased, control of costs of the enterprise is strengthened. The consumption of fuel and lubricants was reduced by 7%, cost value of production in general is reduced by 5%.
