NPK "Katren" creates a corporate system of communications

On April 18, 2014 Softline announced project completion to implementation of a corporate system of communications for Katren company on the Microsoft Lync Server 2013 platform.

Project Tasks

The structure of the company from 28 branches causes need of existence of a modern common information space, the platform of the joint communications. IT specialists were faced by a problem of integration of separate services: instant messagings, IP telephony, conference communication. Factors of influence on the choice of new effective solution became: functionality, availability and convenience of using and also cost.

Project Progress

Prior to the beginning of the project the pharmaceutical company used earlier version of the solution of Microsoft - MS Lync Server 2010. With an exit of the updated product which functionality considerably extended specialists of Softline recommended to Katren migration for Microsoft Lync Server 2013.

In the new version of a system to functionality of instant messaging, to telephone and to video calls the feature for communication with users of Skype, work from mobile devices and the organization of video conferences in the HD format is added. The solution allows to cut down operating expenses due to standardization of technologies, to simplify processes of interaction of personnel.

Project Results
