The Terrasoft group announced at the end of 2013 project completion of implementation of industry solution of bpm'online cargo for optimization of management of the container park of Global Konteyner Lodzhistiks company.

"Global Konteyner Lodzhistiks" is the participant of the Russian market of freight transportation having important competitive advantage in the form of own container park numbering about 6 thousand units. For the most effective use of this resource and quality improvement of service the company made the decision to implement the product bpm'online cargo.

Within the project the following key business challenges were solved:

Automation of process of selection of quotations

For quality improvement of customer interaction in bpm’online cargo the possibility of the fastest selection of options of transportation of a load, on the basis of the minimum information from the client – points of sending and appointment is implemented. Using a system the manager can select optimal quotation, automatically create the commercial offer and send it to the client's e-mail that increases the speed of reaction to a request and company competitiveness.

Optimization of management of the container park

In the solution processes of search and reservation of containers are automated. The manager can quickly learn about the number of free containers in a necessary location thanks to operational import of information on a location and a status of containers from reports of agents and data of GVTs of JSC "Russian Railways" that he allows to minimize terms of order fulfillment of the client. This functionality is complemented automatic with e-mail notifications to the client about dislocation of containers that gives it the chance to control transportation of the load. Function of reservation of containers in the point of departure and at other stations excludes a possibility of the order of the same containers under different transportations and reduces costs for their transportation to the necessary location.

Organization of a common information space

Bpm’online cargo consolidates data in a common information space for productive work of the manager with clients, partners and suppliers.

The possibility of import to the system of acts of the contractors given about dislocation of containers and cars of reports on stages of overload allows to manage successfully projects and to control accomplishment by partners of obligations. Thanks to bilateral integration with 1C all up-to-date data about agreements, accounts and the status of payments are available to the manager in the CRM system.
