On April 29, 2014 specialists of the company "1C: The first BIT" announced end the project of automation of inventory and operational accounting in PSP group on the basis of the solution "1C: Integrated Automation 8".
Project Tasks
Growth of business and substantial increase of sales volumes resulted the PSP enterprise in need of creation of an information system for acceleration of processing and assembly of orders.
Due to the lack of up-to-date information about stock balance managers of the enterprise had to call back repeatedly to storekeepers and clients for review of the order. Packers and storekeepers had to distinguish goods in a warehouse visually, recalculation of products was executed manually, the complexity was represented by control of a remaining balance on a warehouse, there was a regrading.
To provide the high speed of assembly of orders and to avoid errors at their complete set, tools which would allow to process quickly incoming requisitions were necessary for the enterprise, to quickly define location of necessary products in a warehouse and to unambiguously identify it.
One more task, important for the enterprise, - automation of payroll to personnel on a piece wage. According to the management of "PSP", such scheme of motivation should increase labor productivity of employees.
Project Progress
As the partner of implementation invited the company "1C: The first BIT". For implementation of the tasks it is decided to use the 1C: Integrated Automation 8 system.
40 jobs of heads, managers, accountants, collectors of orders and storekeepers are automated.
Project Results
Operational accounting of products and component parts in a warehouse is organized. Recalculation of goods at assembly is executed using scanners of the barcodes connected to a system now. At the same time the program signals about emergence of any deviations from credentials. It provided accurate accounting of stock balance and allowed to reduce regrading to an acceptable minimum. The staff of the company at any time has now up-to-date data on stock remainders.
Operators during the work with clients locate the data necessary for formation of the order now. During telephone conversation they can already provide to the client exact information on existence of products interesting him and, if necessary, correct the order. Storekeepers determine products belonging to a specific type of the nomenclature not visually, and by a barcode, and obtain from a system information on location of each position in a warehouse.
A new system allowed to implement a price-work wage system at the enterprise. Employees earn a reward for the work taking into account the actual development (quantity of lines of collected orders - for collectors, weight - for loaders, the number of shipments - for packers and managers). The dependence of salary on amount of completed work positively affected personnel labor productivity.
"The acceleration of assembly of the order which allowed to introduce the rule "shipment in day of the address" became the main thing for us result of use of the 1C: Integrated Automation system, - Nikolay Polyansky, the director of PP PSP LLC noted. - This rule accelerated growth of number of our clients, including - due to preserving old to which nobody in the market is able to provide such service. The new operating procedure of a warehouse considerably increased the number of orders which we can execute.
