2018: Release of RFID tags of CandyTag DNA with cryptoprotection

On October 23, 2018 the company "RST-Invent" announced production start RFID- tags of CandyTag DNA of page cryptoprotection. The UCODE DNA chip used in a tag production process from the company NXP provides cryptographic data protection. Algorithm enciphering AES, with key length of 128 bits, allows to apply a RFID tag as means of payment, like the bank card. Thanks to this product users should not select between efficiency of distant reading and providing security the applications, consider in RST-Invent.

According to the developer, CandyTag DNA RFID tag thanks to the UCODE DNA chip will be suitable for the solutions requiring additional protection: contactless systems of collecting of a payment for use of toll roads, registration of vehicles, authentication of license plate numbers, payment of the parking and so forth. As reported in RST-Invent, for October, 2018 RFID technologies with the UCODE DNA chip are used for identification of motor transport at the state level in Kenya, Philippines, Honduras and on the Cayman Islands and also there pass pilot projects in some other countries.

2014: Serial production of RFID tags of CandyTag

RST-Invent expanded in the spring of 2014 a line of the made RFID tags, having started serial release of CandyTag – the tags created for use in the RFID systems of production and warehouse logistics.

The project company RUSNANO "RST-Invent" at the plant in the Leningrad Region started serial production of radio-frequency tags of CandyTag. It is the first tag sticker of family of RFID tags of iNano having the registration increased by a distance which is created especially for industrial application.

CandyTag was developed taking into account wishes of our customers – we analyzed problems which they most often face in the course of RFID automation of the enterprises, and created the radio-frequency tag meeting all requirements of modern industrial productions. The new product on the technical characteristics does not concede to foreign analogs, moreover, has several advantages – for example, the increased interval between tags provides their sure record on any models of RFID printers Nikolay Serdyukov, top manager of industrial projects of RST-Invent

Thanks to the increased registration distance up to 9 meters, CandyTag is optimal as for projects on automation of pipeline productions, and for supply chain management where reading from big distances often is required.

Radio-frequency characteristics of a RFID tag do not depend on parameters of a nonmetallic surface on which it is established, so the tag is suitable for marking of a broad spectrum of accounting units - both at the level of individual, and at the level of group packaging. Use of tags of CandyTag in RFID systems allows the industrial companies to control correctness of shipments, to minimize regrading, to reduce losses of products, to keep account of a turnover container.

Development of a radio-frequency tag for industrial projects became, in fact, a final accord in creation of a line of RFID tags of high sensitivity of iNano. The family of tags stickers iNano of production of RST-Invent is provided by 4 products: WinnyTag, B42b, BiblioTag, CandyTag. So, tags of WinnyTag and B42b found the application in the jewelry and pharmaceutical industries: thanks to the miniature sizes they optimum are suitable for integration into jewelry labels and labels of medicines. The tag of BiblioTag and its modification of BiblioTag-SE in 2012 were created especially for marking of library stocks and archives - tags of production of RST-Invent company mark book funds of 18 libraries of Moscow and St. Petersburg. Besides, BiblioTag can be used for marking of fixed assets and inventory items and also the most various goods in retail trade.
