Smarton (1C: Trade Management 8)

Smarton LLC and 1C-Rarus group implement the joint project on automation of customer service based on the 1C: Trade Management program for the purpose of increase in the service level of consumers. Upgrade will affect key blocks: sales, purchases, finance, logistics and warehouse.

Within the agreement on cooperation on upgrade it is going to carry out automation of the basic trade, purchasing, logistic and financial processes of the customer as whom the leading importer and the distributor of office and office supplies in Republic of Belarus Smarton company acts.

According to the associate director on business processes of Smarton LLC of Sergey Mikhaylovich Voytko, it is going to create the single end-to-end system allowing to optimize sales processes and purchases. Need of this sort of upgrade appeared in the company owing to growth of its turnovers and the extensive customer base. For years of work of Smarton LLC exclusive cooperation with more than 40 brands is set up. With all partners and clients direct communication is built - orders are made out directly at foreign suppliers, and shipments to consumers are performed using own transport.

"We cooperate with world famous brands: Pentel, Maped, Esselte, IP, Kores, Casio, Durable, Kangaro, Apli, Senator, also we service considerable number of the Belarusian companies. For effective work and business management there was a need for an end-to-end information system which will allow to process quicker tender and client orders, to manage production and implementation of souvenirs, - Sergey Voytko comments.

For the solution of assigned tasks the 1C: Trade Management program on the 1C:Enterprise 8 platform was selected. At this stage specialists of 1C-Rarus company owing to their experience, qualification and the number of successfully implemented projects were connected.

In a new information system important tasks will be implemented:

• work of logisticians and an inventory control specialists for effective planning of deliveries and shipments of goods is included;
• timely informing on a customs clearance and declaring of goods for the purpose of control and rapid response is configured;
• integration of the warehouse block into a single end-to-end system "1C: Trade Management" for the purpose of instant and relevant informing on the movement of goods is carried out;
• all financial calculations are automated.

This project on automation will allow to raise not only controllability business, but also considerably will improve the level of customer service.
