2019: Equipment of DPC technology of liquid cooling

On October 17, 2019 it became known that the Inpro Tekhnolodzhis company equipped DPC of FGC UES with computing and communication complexes with technology of direct liquid cooling thanks to which it is possible to cut down operating costs for 30% in comparison with traditional solutions.

The Inpro Tekhnolodzhis company started project implementation in 2018 after consideration of technology by technical services of PJSC FGC UES. In a work progress it was carried out load tests and heat tests in a heat chamber. According to the results of works samples of computing and communication complexes which are placed in DPC of DZO PJSC FGC UES - IT Energy Service LLC were created.

The main request of PJSC FGC UES within the project – optimization of the existing IT resources and creation of technology for operational deployment of computing resources without considerable investments in IT infrastructure.

Thanks to technology of direct liquid cooling it is possible to cut down operating costs for 30% in comparison with the traditional solutions based on air cooling.

Growth of requirements for computing power is connected with digitalization of the enterprises of the fuel and energy industry and to transition to modern technologies of creation of intelligent networks and digital substations. The commission of PJSC FGC UES recommends transition to creation of prototypes of computing and communication complexes with their subsequent operation on objects of the company.

Use of development corresponds to an adopted agenda of the innovative development of PJSC FGC UES for 2016-2020 with perspective till 2025 and the list of the perspective innovation directions, such as: "Remote control and security", "Management of reliability and assets", Digital substation.
