DPC of IT Energy Kitay-gorod

The IT Energy company announced in September, 2014 commissioning of the additional areas of the data processing center (DPC) Kitay-gorod. Need for expansion of the areas of DPC arose in connection with growth of customers needs of the company in high-performance computing resources.

As the deputy CEO for infrastructure services IT Energy Linkov Andrey noted, "commissioning of additional capacities in a data processing center Kitay-gorod will allow to continue project implementation of centralization of corporate information systems (CIS) of the large energy companies of the Russian Federation — our customers, having provided convenient access them to DZO to CIS via secure channels of communication. All this will increase reliability and performance of CIS and will cut down investment and operating expenses".

Due to input of the additional areas the total area of DPC Kitay-gorod under placement of server and telecommunication equipment grew to 1450 sq.m, and now on it it is possible to place up to 190 racks, noted in IT Energy. The total electric power is 2.8 MW. Service of customers is performed in mode 24x7x365(366).

According to the company, reliability of power supply of the center is provided with the guaranteed power supply of the 1st category with involvement in this scheme of the HEPS No. 1 Smidovich, existence of alternative channels of power supply and use modern to UPS.

Feature of DPC is also existence of the telecommunication node providing high-speed access to public service networks with direct connection to the Moscow long-distance telephone exchange of MMTS-9 through own fiber optic ring across Moscow.

The DPC Kitay-gorod offers both services of placement of the equipment of the customer, and service of lease of computing powers using modern methods of virtualization and deployment of private "clouds" with providing IaaS- and PaaS-services.

Important advantage is also existence of the modern telecommunication node providing high-speed access to public service networks with direct connection to the Moscow long-distance telephone exchange of MMTS-9 through own fiber optic ring across Moscow. Service of customers is performed in mode 24x7x365(366).
