2018: "I declare boycott". Leroy Merlin was opposed by the famous businessmen and journalists

The network of hypermarkets of building materials Leroy Merlin got at the beginning July, 2018 to the center of the juicy scandal. At herself in Facebook the employee of the company published record about the girl which in the capital Region of Novoperedelkino was allegedly burned by drunk football fans, celebrating a victory of the Russian national team over a command of Spain. As it became clear later, this information was not true. Having mentioned "pobedobesiya", Panina added later that thus, it "opens and deletes cotton wool". Possibly, the piarshchitsa meant cleaning of comments of patriotically configured users. Clients of the company through the whole country declared networks boycott, and at the head of the revolting masses there were eminent businessmen, journalists and[1] officials[2][3].

After Panin entered polemic with the adviser to the governor of Moscow area for human rights Marina Yudenich. Panina tried to justify herself in several posts, and then at all deleted the account in Facebook. It was insufficiently. Social networks already started heshteg of #Бойкот_Леруа, #ПокаЛеруа and #я_не_покупаю_в_Леруа. People intend to boycott hypermarket until Panina is dismissed. The action was supported by both ordinary users, and journalists. The Chief Editor of Russia Today TV channel Margarita Simonyan, the host of "60 minutes" on Russia-1 TV channel Evgeny Popov, the journalist Armen Gasparyan and the head of the Center of political information Alexey Mukhin joined it.

On July 4, 2018 the representative office of the French network of hypermarkets of building materials and furniture published official apologies before all whose corns the recent post of the PR-director "Leroy Merlin Russia" Galina Panina could tread on.
