AlbatrosCargo transfers office to "cloud" of Google

On May 28, 2014 the Softline company announced implementation of "cloud" Google services of Apps in an IT environment of logistic operator AlbatrosCargo.

Project Tasks

For increase in efficiency of business processes the company needed stable work of mail services, reduction of volume of spam and reducing costs for support of infrastructure. It was required to ensure functioning with e-mails from any place in the world by means of any computer device, including smartphones and tablets. The initiative proceeded from the company executives imposing high requirements to a mail system, one of them - round-the-clock operation during 99.9% of time. Achievement of such indicator by means of internal resources is difficult and expensive. Involvement of the supplier of a cloud solution helped to solve this problem quickly and without additional costs.

Project Progress

AlbatrosCargo selected a packet of Google services of Apps which provides required SLA not worse than 99.9%. As the partner in the project the Softline company is attracted.

Migration on Google Apps is carried out within two weeks with the minimum costs of the budget. At the first stage accounts of all employees are automatically created, double mail delivery is configured, then – transition of all employees to "cloud" services is made gradual, on departments.

Project Results

"Thanks to implementation of Google Apps we enormously save time of IT department. I consider that this most important advantage as the company received almost fault-free service for which it is not necessary to keep in staff of additional people.
