In 1992 Sergey graduated from Military institute of foreign languages.
Since 1992 worked in Kombellga Ltd, as the sales representative. Afterwards received a position of the deputy commercial director of Kombellga Ltd.
In 2004, at the consolidation "Kombellga" and "Sovintel", was given assignment by the head of department of sales and post-sales.
In 2008 after integration of Sovintel into JSC VimpelCom received a position of the sales director to large corporate clients.
Since February, 2012 Sergey headed the created directorate on work with corporate clients of the Moscow region.
Till October, 2014 Sergey Petrov worked as the vice president for development of corporate business of JSC VimpelCom. Sergey Petrov made the decision to leave the company and to implement own projects.
