2014: Start of the project
On June 11, 2014 the ICL group announced work on an implementation project of Microsoft Dynamics AX 2012 system in Vesna company.
Project Tasks
Since 2006 the Vesna company worked at the Microsoft Dynamics AX 3.0 platform. During this time many business processes of the enterprise underwent changes, and for ensuring high-quality work, further growth, the enterprise needed to enrich functionality, to increase system performance.
The company contractor should automate management:
- production,
- purchases and stocks,
- sales and marketing,
- quality,
- motor transport,
- planning of productive and financial activities.
- Now the first stage – the description of processes "comes to an end as will be" with assessment of a functional covering. At this stage it is possible to tell with confidence that Microsoft Dynamics AX 2012 will give extensive opportunities for further development of Vesna company, - Alsou Zakiyeva, the project manager noted. – The company will receive the tool for planning which will provide big transparency and detailing, and new capacities will allow to process the bigger volume of historical data.
By a technique [1] used by ICL as Microsoft partner, the development stage will follow further.
Start of a system in operation is planned for spring of 2015.
2015
Approval of designs of the solution and list of completions
February 5, 2015. ICL announced[2] about end of the next stage of the project in Vesna company.
At the moment the companies approved designs of the solution by processes, formulated the list of completions of standard functionality Microsoft Dynamics AX 2012 and started their development. The big block of modifications will be implemented in sales management regarding management of customer interaction. Also the schedule system and demand forecasting in Microsoft Dynamics AH regarding the strategic, annual and operational sliding planning will be improved. For convenience of analytical work the OLAP cube according to sales and to budgets will be created.
