Bauer Media Rus transferred support of SAP to the third-party contractor

On June 16, 2014 the IBS group announced the beginning of rendering services of basic administration of a corporate information system of SAP in Bauer Media Group Publishing house.

Recruiting in the IBS project, the Bauer Media Group company expects to reduce total costs by ownership of a corporate information system with simultaneous reliability augmentation and productivities of applications.

For support of business operations in the company the information system on the platform SAP which provides functions sales of circulations and advertizing in editions and also financial accounting and preparation of the corporate reporting is implemented. In the company are implemented and solutions are used SAP ERP SAP BI SAP Business Objects.

From the moment of implementing solutions on the SAP platform administration of systems was performed by regular IT specialists. Reorganizing a support service of information systems, the company saw other opportunities of support of basic functions of the IT system.

Having estimated costs for search and involvement of the qualified specialist at the state, the management of Bauer Media Group made the decision for benefit of outsourcing.

Project Results

Experience of several months proved reliability of support. In the course of acceptance of a system on maintenance the application of pro-active monitoring helping to reveal and fix 99% of problems at a stage of the preliminary analysis before emergence of risk of failures is unrolled.

The signed contract, in addition to an administration packet, helps specialists of Bauer Media Group to get quickly functional support from experts of IBS, to use the operational help in a case of a lack of own resources or necessary examination.
