Content

On June 17, 2014 the CORUS Consulting group announced project completion of development and deployment of the automated control system for educational process on the 1C:CRM platform at International Management Institute St business school. Petersburg (IMISP). The individual functionality of a system is developed especially for the solution of business challenges of the customer.

Project Task

Before the management of IMISP there was a question of need of the optimization of internal processes and system implementation allowing to automate a number of key business operations. As the contractor the CORUS Consulting company is selected. The customer designated key areas which required the solution:

  • management of budget process,
  • training management
  • customer relationship management.

Project Progress

Creation of AS of UUP took place in two stages. At the first stage the process of management of budgets of programs and the schedule including possibilities of drawing up the schedule by curricula and change managements was automated. Within the second stage the module of management of educational process using which processes of set and transfer of listeners on programs, control of payment of training, attendance and progress of listeners, calculation of time worked teachers, the analysis of results of questioning of listeners, etc. were automated was implemented.

Project Results

System implementation automated key processes:

  • database maintenance of students of IMISP,
  • formation of the lesson schedule,
  • formation of contractual documentation,
  • documents on ensuring educational process and upon completion of training,
  • accounting of visit of occupations and progress of listeners,
  • formation of documents upon completion of training,
  • questioning of listeners.

Within AS of UUP carrying out the analytical reporting under a management system for educational process is implemented.

Specialists integrated AS of UUP with other automated systems: planning and budgeting system (PALO), corporate portal (Moodle), system of accounting ("1C: Accounting"), system of personnel records and payroll calculation ("1C: Payroll and HR Management"), control and management system for access Orion.

"In the field of formation of operation on management of educational process and customer relationship management are closely interconnected, - Vladimir Markov, the area director of 1C of CORUS Consulting Group noted. – For this reason the decision to automate both processes based on one 1C:CRM software product was made. It allowed to exclude duplication of data entry in the different systems and also gave the chance of operational obtaining uniform information in interaction of marketing department and sales and groups of administration of programs".
Fedor Ragin, the vice rector of IMISP, told: "We received an end-to-end automated system of planning and accounting of educational process, load of teachers and audiences. All documents accompanying learning process form and stored in a system. Now we can trace a training history from the address moment before obtaining the diploma".
