IT: System of accounting of working time

The system of accounting of working time - is created and is actively used in the IT company Center of Custom Software Developments (CCSD).

Main systems capabilities:

• planning and a time recording is kept by different types of activities and projects;
• due to integration with external systems or way of use of internal systems capabilities information on holidays, business trips, diseases and training and also data on the current projects and an organization structure of the company is considered;
• in case of use of the industrial systems task managements, such as Atlassian Jira, is provided creation of reports on the basis of data on the executed activities of the employee which are available in these systems;
• the mechanism of scheduling of holidays of employees for the long period and approvals of applications for a holiday of all responsible for projects in which the employee worked or is going to work during the period close to a holiday is implemented;
• the developed reporting allowing to obtain quickly the comprehensive information on the employee, the project, activity of division or the company in general for any time frame is provided;

informing interested persons (line managers, project managers and so forth) by e-mail about different events according to their subscription is provided.

2014: Opening of the code

On June 19, 2014 the Center of custom software development of IT company announced opening of the source code of a system of accounting of working time.

The product underwent testing in division of IT. A system was implemented in the Center in 2013.

Heads of the companies of any level are interested in operational obtaining reporting information on employee occupation. In it, except information on the carried-out tasks and costs of time, there have to be data on problems, the reasons of processings or idle times, plans for the next days, complex indicators on the planned and actual activities, the planned holidays, business trips and so forth.

The employee need the simplest and user-friendly interface for formation of the similar reporting that at all completeness of the entered information, its input required time minimum.

A system provides itself the web application implemented on the open source PostgreSQL and Tomcat. For work of the user the Mozilla Firefox browser is used.

The source code of a system freely extends according to the license GNU GENERAL PUBLIC LICENSE Version 3.
