The Kometa corporation completed implementation of ERP

On July 1, 2014 it became known of an implementation project of an enterprise management system on the Microsoft Dynamics AX platform in an IT environment of JSC Kometa Corporation. Implementation was implemented by consulting company IT-Box.

Project Tasks

Need of the general improvement of management processes required from the company to implement the modern information system providing qualitative and operational information. The specifics of work of the enterprise imposed special requirements and in 2010 the management of corporation the decision on system implementation of enterprise management of the class ERP is made.

"Comet" Stopped the choice on the platform Microsoft Dynamics AX. Importance close integration with Microsoft Office, automation of data exchange with the accounting systems of suppliers represented, scalability and a possibility of accounting of productive activity, project accounting within the unified information system. To system implementation in the company used Microsoft Excel also paper accounting that appeared ineffectively, it is labor-consuming and required repeated information input at different stages of implementation of business processes.

Project Progress

Among the tasks set for a project team:

• formalization and documentation of business processes of the enterprise,
• completion of a system according to technical specifications,
• testing,
• formation of the user documentation and user training,
• preparation of initial data and further start in operation.

During the project IT-Boxes conducting specialists created the solution covering different divisions of big research and manufacturing enterprise, the efficiency due to use of a common information space and a total failure from the paper accounting and the separate accounting systems which are not connected among themselves increased.

Within implementation the main spheres of activity of Kometa Corporation are automated:

• accounting of productive activity
• inventory control
• accounting of contract activities and settlement with partners
• project accounting
• electronic document management.
