Sberbank of Russia uses a management system for accounts

On July 15, 2014 JSC SBERBANK OF RUSSIA announced operation of the system of centralized operation by accounts of employees of the bank created on the basis of the solution IBM Security Identity Manager.

Project Results

The management system for accounts passed the test period in 2013, is integrated with an IT landscape of bank and brought into operation in December, 2013. The project is implemented by bank together with experts of EGAR Technology Ukraine.

"Implementation of centralized operation by user rights and their accounts is an important link in implementation of such major problem as implementation of the Role model and ensuring implementation of business functions of employees in IT systems. Role approach to assignment of access rights to us allows to implement flexible and dynamic rules of their accounting and also differentiation at accomplishment of job responsibilities by employees of the bank", − Sergey Adamenko, the vice chairman of the board of SBERBANK OF RUSSIA noted. - We standardized rules of the organization of access and also provided their providing without participation of administrators of the final systems. The most part of set operations of access rights of employees to information resources of bank is automated. We implement the seamless integrated process from the moment of registration of the employee in a personnel system before providing access to the front office and used by employees other information resources of bank. Technology platform of this project is the solution IBM Security Identity Manager. It should be noted that our bank is a pioneer of implementation of Identity Manager on the IBM platform in Ukraine. Certainly, successful implementation of IBM Security Identity Manager − is result of accurate, harmonious work and high qualification of a team of specialists of bank and experts of EGAR Technology Ukraine".
"The main objective of the project was integration of a management system for lifecycle of accounts with the available information resources of bank which are in turn provided by solutions of different producers, − Alexander Tsyrulnitsky, the commercial director of EGAR Technology Ukraine told. - The primary source of information on employees and actions for them in bank is the personnel management system (SAP HR), it was connected by the first to the IBM Security Identity Manager system. Integration with SAP HR allowed to create reference books on employees, an organization structure of bank and to use them as reference data for other integrated systems. Along with SAP HR, a new system is connected to the system of customer relations (Oracle Siebel CRM), SAP ERP, HP Service Desk, the applications "Trading Day of Bank" (Core banking system B2), Internet banking (iFOBS), electronic document management (Doks, DOKBS), a card system (IS-Card). Within the project the technology of the Uniform input (Enterprise Single Sign-on) for access for users to 20 applications is implemented".
