BeCloud creates reference network in Belarus

On August 4, 2014 the Technoserv company announced construction and start in operation of reference network of the Uniform republican data network by request of the Belarusian operator beCloud.

Project Progress

Construction of the ERSPD reference network began in the fourth quarter 2013. Today its level of a covering is 6 regional and 34 district centers of Republic of Belarus. High-speed trunk communication channels on the basis of optical fiber and reference nodes in the regional and district centers which guarantee modern technical capabilities and high data transfer rates for different operators are a part of network. The general contractor of the project the Russian integrator "Technoserv" - the company provided timely supply of equipment for DWDM and IP/MPLS networks, installation and commissioning, transfer of the ready systems to the customer to operation.

Project Results

SOOO "BeCloud" (beCloud operator) put the reference network for the Uniform Republican Data Network (URDN) which integrated at the moment 40 localities across all Belarus into commercial operation.

Basis of reference network - a high-speed backbone network of DWDM. The transport network of DWDM represents the base for the multiservice network IP/MPLS created on the basis of IP protocols and capable to provide a broad spectrum of telecommunication services, including transfer of voice traffic. In December, 2013 the subsystem of telephone switching (VOICE X) providing exchange of voice traffic at the long-distance and international levels is put into operation. Two nodes of voice switching in the city of Minsk based on the equipment of Huawei company are brought into commercial operation.
