In the conditions of significant increase in amounts of works on the specified activities and, respectively, the increased volume of document flow the decision on implementation at institute of an electronic document management system was made. In 2011 efficiency analysis of the electronic document management systems (EDMS) presented at the market was carried out. On set of criteria "the price, efficiency, quality and technical support" the most adapted to tasks of institute was recognized the bb workspace system of the Russian developer Double Data Hey Media Ltd.

Before the final decision on purchase and implementation of EDMS bb workspace its two-month testing with simultaneous training of staff of institute was held.

After input of an electronic document management system of bb workspace in operation processes of office-work were significantly optimized, time expenditure was considerably reduced by their implementation.
