Azerfon changes ERP

On August 7, 2014 it became known of the project of transition of the company Azerfon to upgraded version ERP Microsoft Dynamics NAV 2009. As the guarantor in the project the representative office Microsoft in the territory of Azerbaijan acted. Partner integrator in the project the company West Concept.

Project Tasks

At a stage of development Azerfon built the financial processes in ERP Microsoft Dynamics NAV 4.0. The project on transition to the version Microsoft Dynamics NAV 2009 was initiated by the management Azerfon planning development of IT infrastructure of the company and updating a financial circuit.

As the partner in this Microsoft Azerbaijan project attracted West Concept company. Specialists of West Concept investigated previously a solution architecture, base, customizations and showed the examination in the solution of such tasks.

Project Progress

The project consisted of stages:

• The analysis of architecture of the existing modifications in a system;
• Transfer of the existing modifications on the new version of Microsoft Dynamics NAV 2009;
• Making changes in the instrument of migration.

Project Results

The main objective of transition to the new version of Dynamics NAV is in that using instruments of migration to transfer financial base – a system core, in the new version of Microsoft Dynamics NAV 2009. As a result of an implementation project this task is solved.

Updating of a system helped to create and provide reliable, complete and operational information about a financial status of the company. At transfer of accounting and tax accounting features of the legislation of Azerbaijan are considered.
