Asteros implemented a system mobile the presentations in SIBUR holding

On October 06, 2014 the Asteros group told^[1] about implementation in SIBUR holding of the mobile service PresentPerfect implemented on the Apple platform.

Prerequisites of the Project

For increase in efficiency of the organization of board meetings, Board of Directors, business sessions, the presentations and corporate meetings in SIBUR holding it was decided to start service of the wireless synchronous presentations PresentPerfect on IOS-DEVICES.

"Original requirements to presentation service were very simple – we wanted that on working meetings each head was involved in discussion. We were faced by a task to minimize standard problems: insufficient interactivity of the presentations, a small print on diagrams and schemes, weak involvement sitting in the distance from the screen. We found out that it is much easier to draw attention of the employee, showing the presentation on the personal mobile device, but not on the screen", – the director of information technology of SIBUR holding Ilya Zyryanov tells.

As integrator the Asteros company was selected. The company notes that Asteros and the SIBUR have rather long story of business cooperation within which several interesting projects are implemented at once.

Project Progress

"For the first time requirement the SIBUR in the mobile presentations was sounded in 2013. Specialists the SIBUR examined the available and already working key PresentPerfect functions, estimated motility of a product, its opportunity and created the wishes on additional development. Further application testing in several stages with elimination of notes then - training and start started. We did all development and testing far off. Final training also launched already through joint efforts at head office. Thus, since the beginning of summer of 2014 PresentPerfect helps management of the SIBUR to be mobile and to do the effective presentations", - the independent consultant for mobile technologies of Asteros company Pyotr Lileev says.

"At the exit we received the multifunction and very simple application in use. Today the corporate mobile service PresentPerfect in the SIBUR is 70 mobile jobs ready to the protected synchronous wireless presentations at any time and in any place", – Ilya Zyryanov adds.

Project Results

PresentPerfect in SIBUR holding allows to organize any corporate action with simultaneous Wi-Fi connection of IOS-DEVICES on which synchronous demonstration of the presentation or the report is performed. Safety of data transmission is ensured by the connection protected by Wi-fi, enciphering of TLS and also the password of access to demonstration.

Presentation material is synchronously displayed on the mobile device of the speaker and listeners. The speaker can manage perception of audience: obtain information on readiness of participants, hold the remote presentations and show small videos. One more feature of service is an opportunity to take online votes and to put "likes". At the same time results are visible to the speaker at once. The similar interactive allows not just to conduct legal meetings, but also in the live mode to carry out discussions and brain storms with an instant feedback from all participants.

The PresentPerfect service has no restrictions on the number of connections. The number of participants is limited only the number of the devices which are included in the mobile package.
