Performance Indicators

2011

In 2011 the production volume of the ETegro Hyperion servers increased by 3 times in comparison with previous year. Turnover of the company exceeded the level of 2008. The main growth is mentioned in project supplies of equipment under public contracts and in DPCs. Growth rates of sales in a corporate segment decreased, in comparison with last year when this sector made the main share of turnover and was the first sign of recovery of the market of the equipment after crisis.

Project deliveries made about 40% of turnover. ETegro independently participated in a number of projects and also made the equipment for projects of system integrators.

The share of deliveries to DPCs made about 35%. In 2011 commercial DPCs carried out upgrade of the server framework for development of a share of services and cloud projects. The most popular computing equipment for DPCs are 2-processor productive servers in body 1U with increased requirements to reliability and fault tolerance.

In the corporate sector the customers consuming productive solutions and the "heavy" server hardware are selected, are research organizations, providers of services Web 2.0, industrial and business companies and SMB companies of the sector which buy cost-efficient servers. About 30% of deliveries to corporate clients were executed by regional partners of ETegro.

The number of sales of the "heavy" 4-processor ETegro Hyperion systems increased. Their deposit to turnover on servers is more than 8%. Among other lines of the equipment of ETegro growth in sales of ETegro Avelion workstations and stable demand for the ETegro Aegis switches is noted.

Orders for storage systems from a line of ETegro Fastor were reduced in comparison with previous year. It with is connected by substantial increase of the prices of disks owing to a natural disaster in Thailand. In this situation many customers just postponed purchase of storage systems until return of the market of DWH to a stable status.

In addition to increase in production of the equipment of ETegro activated rates of conducting own program developments. In 2011 a number of developments were selected in separate open projects. The most considerable of them is the OpenSAN project (www.opensan.org) — software for SAN of storage systems with the iSCSI interface.

Clients

Among clients there is ETegro: ALROSA, JSC Rosneft, JSC RZD, RBC media holding, JSC Rambler, Masterhost and many others. ETegro also takes active part in implementation of the state projects – so, the company is a supplier of server solutions within the project of creation of a departmental segment of FMS of Russia of the state system of passport and visa documents of new generation.

Customers of the company - government institutions, telecom operators, the Internet companies and media holdings. The companies of medium and small business are our clients too. However if after crisis of 2008 they were the first who began activity in the market, then now they have not the best times as the state destroys small and medium business by introduction of additional taxes, regulation toughening. Only for the first half of 2013 in Russia from 2.5 million companies of the SMB sector, about 500 thousand^[1] were closed].
