The project on system implementation of Microsoft Dynamics AX 2012 R3 in Port of Vysotsky company started

The consulting company IT-Box, service provider on development and deployment of information systems, in August, 2014 started project implementation on system implementation of Microsoft Dynamics AX 2012 R3 in Port of Vysotsky company.

Port Vysotsky LLC - the sea operator of the port of Vysotsk. It is the modern dynamically developing company using in the work the new equipment and advanced technologies which allow the coal terminal of Vysotsk to compete with the leading ports of the Baltic States successfully.

For a long time the company worked, using the obsolete information system "AIS-V" which ceased to answer business requirements of dynamically developing Port Vysotsky LLC owing to what, the company was forced to keep in addition account of the most part of data in Microsoft Excel that was inefficient. For further competitive development of the company transition to more modern means of accounting and implementation of an information system which as much as possible would consider specifics of a company performance became necessary, could work with the large volume of input data and provided "transparency" of the main business processes of the company.

The management of Port Vysotsky LLC made the choice for benefit of Microsoft Dynamics AX 2012 R3 platform which thanks to the wide functionality conforms to all stated requirements and allows to carry out automation of the main business processes of the company, such as:

• planning,
• logistics management,
• storage of a load,
• design of a mortgage load,
• ship traffic control,
• control of empty cars,
• personnel management,
• control of mechanisms.
