Rosmorport reserves power supply of communication systems

On September 4, 2014 Delta Electronics announced installation of uninterruptible power supply units Delta of the NH plus UPS of 40 kVA on a radio tower of a port management system for ship traffic by request of Federal State Unitary Enterprise Rosmorport. The project is implemented in partnership with Tempesto company.

Project Tasks

Radio engineering post as a part of which communication systems and data transmissions operate, hardware complex of information processing and radar stations - a part of a management system for ship traffic. Strategic importance of an object, engineering system caused need of reliable protection against interruptions in power supply.

The uninterruptible power supply unit used earlier in towers did not correspond the requirement of the customer: an object needed the compact UPS with a possibility of operational "hot" replacement. The Tempesto company suggested to implement the high-performance modular NH plus UPS of 40 kVA from Delta Electronics with a possibility of independent operation within 30 minutes.

Project Results

In containers of a tower of communication 2 sets of the NH plus UPS of 40 kVA with signal equipment and battery offices expected integration into the diesel generator set are installed.

Considering these factors, the failsafe Delta Electronics UPS with function of "hot swap" became for us an optimal solution of a problem".
