On July 1, 2016, Dell announced the release of the PowerEdge R830 four-processor server. A compact, cost-effective 2U rack server for midsize Dell[1]

The R830 PowerEdge server is built on the Intel Xeon E5 v4 platform, which provides it with cost-effectiveness on the one hand and performance on the other. The latter is provided by the fact that there can be up to 88 processor cores in one server, which is almost three times more than the same server system of the previous generation.

Dell PowerEdge R930
