On September 23, 2014 the press service of Optima company announced completion of works in a video surveillance system implementation project at the Spartak station of Moscow Metro.
Project Results
Video surveillance system the Optima Transport company, structural division of the Optima Group, on the basis of the applied software platform developed by specialists created "Regulations software".
This platform became a basis for automation systems of the processes of supervisory control by incidents arising at passenger traffic on transport. At its development specialists of the Optima Group made use of the experience accumulated in the project progress on automation of supervisory control by the Volgograd high-speed tram and also during creation of the centers of supervisory control on a number of power objects.
The video surveillance system at the Spartak station is constructed on the modern digital equipment and designed in such a way that at the station there is no "dead band" left, i.e. sections which are not coming into the view of video cameras. It provides the round-the-clock observation not only of passenger and office zones of the station, but also of underground passages and street approaches to lobbies.
"Tests of a system for the purpose of optimization of its utilization properties in working conditions at the station of the subway were carried out, - Andrey Shandalov, the chairman of the board of directors of the Optima Group noted. – Now a system is brought into operation and, we hope, completely will cope with the task".
In composition about hundred twenty five digital video cameras. A large number of the viewing modes allows to organize comprehensive observation of the events and to react quickly to non-staff situations. A system has the potential of scaling and development of functionality that will allow to make in the future it intellectual.
Project Development
On March 12, 2015 the Optima group announced project completion on creation of a video surveillance system at the Troparevo station of Moscow Metro[1].
A system was developed and set by Optima Transport company — division of the Optima Group.
The video surveillance system on Troparevo is designed on the basis of the modern digital equipment, covers all territory of the station, including blocks of service premises and substreet transitions. It is the largest video surveillance system for March 12, 2015 in Moscow Metro. In its structure 176 cameras operate.

"The management of Moscow Metro attaches paramount significance to security on transport — Andrey Shandalov, the chairman of the board of directors of the Optima Group told. — And we as the designer and integrator, we try to make use of all the knowledge, experience and opportunities to cope with the task set by the customer".
A system is designed taking into account all regulations of security of the passengers at the station accepted in Moscow Metro.
"The Optima group implements not the first project in Moscow Metro and even not the first project in the field of video surveillance — Elena Ignatyeva, the chief of the 1st distance of a security service of Moscow Metro noted. — The similar project was implemented at the metro station Spartak. Results say that systems projected and implemented by the company on the functionality conform to the requirements of security existing in Moscow Metro. We are happy with the level of technical solutions and cooperation in general".
